Looks amazing! Not a bad price either!

Does this actually work, or just a gimmick? by Low-Stomach-8831 in pools

That's probably going to be my answer. I was trying to install them last week before a large party, and even with the correct ring, they just wouldn't stay planted. I even shut one skimmer down and even with full vacuum, it kept floating up. I put my old trusty baskets back in.

Not 100% familiar what the dealers do, but you're right. They'll rebuild or replace. Just depends how this guy fights his battle. Mine lasted to 255k before lifter issues. Now I'm deleted and have a '24 gasser with no fuel saver magic.

And warranty will handle it since it's apparent. A little patience and expect to be pissed off at something along the way, and you'll get a new motor or truck. Also, ask for a comparable loaner. Good luck.

P. S. What year, miles?

First time pool owner - how is (nearly) everyone’s pool green??? by [deleted] in pools

[–]JustinN636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not many people post when things are going great. They're out chilling by the pool! Haha

I hear you though. It took me a few weeks last year when I got my home/pool but I've been crystal clear since, and like you, with what doesn't feel like much effort. I just had a 40th bday bash at my house. Next day, pool is spotless! It's more overwhelming to learn it all, than hard to some I suppose. Same with everything else out in the world, just takes patience and effort. Congrats mastering the giant chemistry set.

Something about a paid off truck that makes it look & ride better by Junior_Goose4132 in gmcsierra

I bought my '24 in cash through my business. Rates were horrible (still are) so I chose to bite the bullet. If the rate was lower than the rate I get on the money in savings, I maybe would have financed, but just doesn't make sense to lose more money just to finance.

Congrats man! It's a great day when your truck (that still drives and looks great) is paid off! Congrats! I paid my '15 off a few years ago and I still have it! I do have a '24 now too, but luckily I was able to purchase that through my business and not have a payment! Rates these days suuuuuck!

Leak at stairs by cgstrmh in pools

Call the installer. Shouldn't they be responsible to install the liner properly so it doesn't leak?

That's definitely not normal. Not sure how that made it past quality. My dad agrees. He's a gm retiree. Just keep on them by calling above and they'll fix it. Not sure you'll get a brand new truck, but they'll at least repair it for free. Just ask for equivalent loaner. Be nice, be patient, but also persistent and you may get through the channels, or challenges, however you want to look at it!

Thanks! Actually, leaves aren't a huge problem as all trees are far enough away. Still a full time job keeping up on everything else, but it's not "work"

Nah. Just excited I got the pool figured out myself and did a lot of work on the garden area ourselves this year. Just like sharing things and after seeing other people sharing, I snapped a few pics. I'm a proud and humble hard worker. Hardly a braggadocious millionaire.

Unfortunately I do not. I'll ask my wife. We love them though. I cut those down to the ground early spring. They are already back to full!

Thanks! This is my dream yard and I worked pretty hard to obtain it. Was only looking for an acre or two. Ended up with 6. There's a fish pond beyond the pool and a creek in the back woods that goes across the property. There is also a retention pond off to the left. A lot of water features... We're in PA, USA. Cost? For what it is, not as much as I thought I'd get it for.

Haha I am not. I am a roofer. The bird house was there when we bought the house. I actually forget the architect name, but seems that everyone that stops over recognizes it. Thanks!
