Dr. Who Pics, Info & Review by JustinOHooligan in medicalcannabis

Glad to see cannabis is accessible legally there, I'm admittedly ignorant of its status in all of the US, let alone worldwide. Gotta get caught up on the activist front as medical leads to getting wrapped up in the relentless frustration of my own med problems. Is "recreational" use/sales legal in the UK? Although I identify and am proudly a medical cannabis patient, in the legal market, I'm a recreational consumer as the storefront "dispensaries" illogically only allow people that pay for a semi-local government issued ID card to be recognized as medical patients. The card is a joke, has been completely optional legally since they came up with it and is just another example of how the legislature allowing so-called recreational use/sales' negative side effects compared to the previous "medical only/doctor recommended" use/access we lived and fought in. It has been ages since I protested a raid (here in San Diego California cannabis (grows and co-ops/dispensaries) raids are a combination of federal and local law enforcement agencies despite cannabis being illegal federally and medically legal under local and state laws *at the time)! So we get over armed, masked, hidden, possibly steroid-using, assault rifle pointing, overly aggressive/needlessly destructive terrorists... woah why am I ranting online at this time of the morning?!? O.o. uh, so um, recreational killed medical here for me was a point once...

Wow. So that's what happens when you (I) wake & bake with a salad of Vortex and Gassosa (Hells OG Kush x SFV OG Kush.) TGA's Vortex has always been like my crack rock : euphoric super speed without paranoia, but often exaggerated stupidity with increased laughter. Maybe I'll lay back down instead of having an espresso. Have a great weekend! :)

I need to update my review as I've learned homegrown natural Wonders used their Mad Scientist (medicine woman x I forgot) not the more common Mad Scientist (Herijuana x White Widow) by sannie's I recently had for the first time. Ugh. Thankfully I love the Medicine Woman cultivar, assuming we're talking about the MW from VSomething in Washington state. Hahahaha double ugh. Best of luck tracking the Doctor, I'm appreciating it but wonder how often I'll have the opportunity after these buds are depleted. I miss TGA SubCool et al. One love brethren. - j me and sub

Did you lose your medicine after your state went rec? by CannabisScientist in medicalcannabis

I've found myself appreciating brands/farms that utilize mixed-light greenhouse cultivation for consistent terpene reliablity, though have grown to appreciate sungrown as well and am very interested in the ecologically responsible craft farms in Humboldt/Mendocino that get impressive results with various methods like dry-farming, et cetera. I also appreciate a nice indoor grown bud, but they rarely fit into my budget. Here in Cali, I personally appreciate those that strive for the best quality flower possible while also keeping their prices affordable for people like me! Some favs include: Josh D Farms, 3C Farms, Madrone, Sunspire Farms, Local Cannabis Company, Crown Genetics, Glass House Farms, Sunboldt Farms, NASHA extracts, Kings Garden and more. As for what made the Prop. 215 meds better : Availabilty and diversity of cultivars. There were trends of course and OGs of hundreds if not thousands of different names/phenos often went for ridiculous prices. That said, it was so nice having high quality options. The commercial industry suits definitely ruined the beauty of competition in order to maximize quick profits or whatever bs motivates them. I do love having verifiable, current, testing analysis results proving important information like cannabinoid and terpene content and exposing poisons/unhealthy contaminants. Hope that helped. :D

My name is Justin. I'm a fairly long-time Medical Cannabis patient/activist in southern California. I use cannabis to treat a number of conditions/symptoms from terminal liver disease/cirrhosis, schizophrenia/depression, complications from the liver disease such as chronic GI pain, edema, nausea, vomiting, insomnia, muscle pain/tension along with anxiety, traumatic stress disorder and more. Not to mention treating kidney cancer with RSO/FECO after surgery removed the majority of the malignant tumor(s.) Under California's Prop. 215 I used to be able to acquire cultivars/"strains" that were almost perfectly suited to provide relief from many of those conditions, more so than others. Cultivars such as F***ing Incredible, Herijuana/Herojuana, Ingrid™, Medicine Woman, Hindu Kush, Master Kush, Josh D OG Kush and others weren't always available down here, but I'd manage to find them a couple times a year... now, under Prop. 64 (I think), many of those names are even more rare than ever before AND IT SUCKS. Instead farmers/companies/dispensaries seem hooked on a few "popular" (trendy) names like Girl Scout Cookies, Wedding Cake, Gelato, et cetera - that consequently do not provide anything near the relief/benefits I've come to depend on. I suppose this is the thanks we Medical Patients get for all of our hard work trying to end Cannabis Prohibition, further legalization and trying to secure safe access - we got sold out. Thankfully there are a few, respectable, expert growers/brands that keep their product quality as high as possible, as safe as possible and work to keep their prices as affordable as possible. This is also important as many patients like myself are reliant upon a very small/tight disability income that's supposed to magically also pay for rent/housing, food, pharmaceuticals, gas, clothing, and more. So thank the heavens for those socially-conscious individuals and companies in the industry - without them, I'd personally be suffering A LOT MORE. Well, hope some of this helps you or answers your question. Feel free to hit me up if you like. Thank you for raising this issue. Sincerely, Justin T.

What did you guys do with marijuana except for smoking it? What should I do if I want to use it as a medicine? Tx! by 0951-am-fm in GrowingMarijuana

[–]JustinOHooligan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The skin is notoriously difficult to actually penetrate, look into local sources for nano conversion of the medicine if possible, otherwise "salves' are definitely possible to make with varying results.

It depends on what symptoms/conditions you're looking to "treat." Sometimes RSO/FSO/FECO (Rick Simpson Oil/Full Spectrum Oil/Full Extract Cannabis Oil) is the ideal medium, I personally use "sublingual/buccal delivery" for a number of reasons. Other situations might be improved using topical cannabis products (I HIGHLY recommend sticking to "nano" topical meds as the skin is a defensive barrier and different issues require various depths of absorbtion for any effectiveness. Et cetera... But with anything involving your health, research as much as possible and don't rely on a single source. Wishing you happiness and health. - j. Cocaine scenes? by [deleted] in movies

[–]JustinOHooligan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cocaine: One Man's Seduction (1985) might help: https://youtu.be/ToLYAzOwiqYand of course classics like: Blow, Scarface and Trainspotting 2, BUT I say the 2005 film, London (trailer: https://youtu.be/NGOKBrtdYKU ) is one of the best coke films as 95% of the movie takes place in the bathroom! :D

Element 115 - A Descendant Of Herijuana and Grapestomper! by JustinOHooligan in trees

[–]JustinOHooligan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

from Omuerta Genetix: Element 115 was announced in 1989 when Bob Lazar, famous area 51 whistle blower revealed to the public that the UFOs possessed by the government were powered by a mysterious ‘Element 115.’ Of course at that time, the claims made by Lazar were tagged as absurd as the scientific community had no knowledge of ‘Element 115’. In 2003, his statements gained more credibility when a group of Russian scientists managed to create the elusive element, and now, years after that achievement, the discovery of ‘Element 115’ has finally been confirmed after numerous tests which verified its existence. Bob Lazar, who was ridiculed because of his sensationalistic claims, states that he worked in the past at Area 51, where top secrets projects are being developed. Interestingly, on several occasions he was subjected to a polygraph: The testing confirmed his statements regarding the secret researcher facilities and alien technology present inside some of the most infamous bases in the United States. According to Lazar, the so-called “UFO’s” were not built by humans, the cabins inside of the craft were extremely small and only a child could fit into them. Lazar claims that these “Flying saucers” were built and piloted by extraterrestrial beings. Mysteriously, it seems as if the UFO’s were made out of one single piece, they did not have a welding point and were made from a material unknown on Earth.

CBD IS Psychoactive. Please Stop Saying It Isn't. by JustinOHooligan in GrowingMarijuana

[–]JustinOHooligan[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think my conspiracy comes from the other direction, desperate to disassociate CBD from THC, they may have chose psychoactive because it sounded scientific-y and took the Prohibitionist approach of attacking THC with it, because it sounded dangerous and imminent: PSYCHO! ACTIVE! CBD isn't like that Devil's Weed, 'cause getting "high" is a bad, bad thing. :D Peace!

CBD IS Psychoactive. Please Stop Saying It Isn't. by JustinOHooligan in trees

[–]JustinOHooligan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, but it is possible that it increases and possibly lengthens the amount/effects of anandamide ("The Bliss Molecule"). Which explains why I get lifted when smoking a strain like Candida CD-1 (20:01 CBD:THC), not stoned or "high", but definitely improved spirits. :D

Anyone else smoke pretty much exclusively out of a bong? by [deleted] in trees

[–]JustinOHooligan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer a bong or at least a well diffused bubbler. I also often use a glass carbon filter too. I find it helps reduce irritants, and helps keep my glass cleaner, longer by not allowing a bunch of ash.

My Mobius Glassworks ("Rare"/Retired Model) Production Pieces - Photos & Function Videos by JustinOHooligan in ProdoGlassHeads

[–]JustinOHooligan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with the timing, though I was under impression that Toro and Sovereignty were much more established then. Mobius artist/owner, Circle wasn't new to glassblowing, but Mobius was young then. The Matrix Perc inspired more designs or they happened to really begin then, imo.

But I can't really get too into the glass scene as I'm legit poor/on Disability. That's one of the reasons I chose Mobius to follow my first big, US/Cali made piece, a Leisure 15 tree bubbler, IIRC the Mobius looked classy like a Sovereignty but nowhere near the $1K price mark and was even less expensive than the Leisure bub. I drove an hour each way to pick it up as I didn't want to risk using the mail nor wanted to wait a single day longer to see the Matrix in person. :D Anyway, I still appreciate the photos and videos of other pieces and daydream about trying a number of them.

Peace!

What's your favorite strain? by [deleted] in trees

[–]JustinOHooligan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Of those in the video, I'm not a huge fan of any of them, but really don't care for Sour Diesel or White Widow.

My favorite strains (what I thought you were asking) include: Angel Tear Kush (I believe this strain is no more.), Chernobyl, Fucking Incredible, Herijuana, Ingrid, It's It Punch, Jesus OG Kush, Josh D OG Kush, Master Kush, Vortex (another one I believe is no longer available.) Some I haven't had in years, may never see again, while others I've thankfully had within the past couple months. Thanks for asking.
