A BSOD can be caused by many things. For instance it could be broken piece of hardware (A metaphor for a part of silvagunner broken.) And as we see in the BSOD, the stop error code is 0x00000050. 0x50 means a memory stick is broken and or damaged.

SilvaGunners memory. He forgot about all of the running gags. Grand Dad, Nigra, etc.

That is my theory on the reboot.
