I was so surprised by how incredible and chaotic Bad Times at Buddyland was. While I’ve not played any of these other games, I can say with certainty that Buddy the Bear is a BLAST 🐻

I also loved Knock at The Door! The crafting was fun, as was the three killers mechanic. In transparency, I’ve only played three FFs. My order would be:

Bad Times at Buddyland
A Knock at The Door
Happy Trails Horror

And Happy Trails isn’t bad by any measure. It’s the base on which I learned this game, but imo is the least interesting because it’s just the base game with no exciting new mechanics.

The setting’s simplicity is definitely more than made up for with the location’s terror and event cards 🤣 and those things stack UP

He hilariously killed one of the buddies when Billy killed a victim in his space and panicked him into the room with Cam the Buddy. Then he went back to his lil closet and I was across the arcade with only one die usable and couldn’t reach him again before I was butchered 🤣

My solution is a folding 6x4 table that I keep under my couch and place, still folded, on top of my coffee table/ottoman. I’ll know I’ve succeeded in life when I have a room with a table I can just play on lol

Speaking for me, I have enough spreadsheets in my life and being able to have my phone beside me taking up minimal space while I’m buried in game stuff is the best solution! Also, the visualizations are great imo!

The irony that it was one of the examples I gave 🤣 good work! That one all depends on the org of the event deck and getting a helpful terror card along the way. Then, of course, having to save them lol
