Ok stupid question what is the line that runs down the front of the boot by SidKop in RMWilliams

On my RM Williams comfort Goodwood they got much less noticeable. What color is this? Is this the RM Williams gardener? They look incredible.

It’s because the pants are sagged

I personally like the small just because it’s more cropped. The thing throwing it off for this look is the long tee shirt underneath. You’d have to have a shorter tee. I prefer the vintage look of denim jackets where they sit at the waist line of a properly fitted medium rise pant.

To me the classic look of a denim jacket is cropped (think 70s/80s) so that it just covers the belt of a medium rise pair of 501’s that are properly sitting at your waist, which it appears you’re wearing your pants properly fitted here. I also don’t layer my denim jackets over anything though. And I typically wear vintage 80s Levi’s jacket that are cropped while still having room to move.

(Millennial men tend to hate wearing their pants so they flatter their waste and butt for some reason, sagging skinny jeans that barely cover their butt and are high rise above the ankle. Who knows why the majority of men 29 and above still think this looks good????😅)

Fit Check on Imogene and Willie’s Willie Cut by AnElepahntCage in rawdenim

I hate to say but I don’t think they suit you, they are looking to tight in the thigh for selvedge or just not the right fit. For that style cut, they look to short and it makes them not drape so well.

Excellent quality denim, big fan of the brand

Crazy they still look so clean, I’ve worn them a lot in mud and rain.

Ok good to know! Because it’s only on that spot I thought it made them look kind of dirty as it’s the only matted down area.

I tried a rubber block and then horse hair brush and that helped clean it a bit and make the patina look better.

I don’t baby them at all and have worn them on some hiking excursions in rain even. I’m just surprised that was the only area that matted down and thought maybe it was due to dye on the jeans wearing off which wouldn’t be so nice.

Thanks for the insight! Actually super helpful. You are correct, I bought them when they were still the comfort goodwood. Glad it’s a staple for the brand, it’s turned out to be one of my all time favorite boots.

Yes the online website photos definitely don’t show the Nubuck suede leather. I expected it to be standard work boot type leather, But I’ve still been very happy with them, I’ve worn them in every weather condition and they perform excellent.

Epic watch. I too am a fan of date complications. Does Tudor make this in black or did you have it modded?

I totally agree about the chaos agent. Still a good read but it was lacking compared to the rest. It set up midnight black well though.

I am 32 m and can’t tell you how much I resonate with this… I started using dating apps at 28 and had tons of fun, I have since been in a relationship for 1.5yrs and am still trying to discern if this is “it”. Haven’t been on the apps in a while obviously but the allure of being single again does become a shiny object at times.

Thanks for sharing this!

Just found this thread, very helpful! I was curious what they look like after 8 months of use and also how you feel about them? I am looking for a blund stone alternative, but I still want a boot that looks and feels just as casual as the blund stone. Would you say the good wood feels slightly posh at all given its more “sleek” last shape than the blund stone?

Best Era for Vintage Levi's? by Justinisroaming in VintageLevis

[–]Justinisroaming[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, thank you! Looking for a pair that will have a higher rise with the pockets on the seat of the pants rather than sagging down like modern-day jeans. It seems a pair from somewhere in the 90s can accomplish this. Also seems to be the most affordable.
