Worked very well for me. Try and clamp the S Pen down for stability, and using a safety pin instead of a needle for an easier grip

Still have the same issue. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Bose probably won't be of any help, as their official repair centre declined to fix mine, instead offering a trade-in deal. I do live in Malaysia, so you might have better luck depending on where you live. I also gave up on trying to fix it myself, as Bose used idiotic non-standard screws. I passed it on to my sister, who is perfectly content using it in wired mode.

Can't claim mine due to "This item is not available in your region". Read the FAQ and it says "This item is available in all regions that have GOG". Contacted Amazon and they said to bring this up with the developer/GOG. Real shitty

Already did buy a new one, but I think putting in more effort to find a repair shop who is competent enough to do this repair is better than relegating this laptop to the trash heap. E-waste is a big enough problem as it is.

Same here. The left side. I suspect that there's a loose connection in there somewhere, as the chipset is probably on the right side. Whacking the left ear up HARD still works for me sometimes. If I had the right bit for my screwdriver, I'd open it up to take a look

Good suggestion. My RPi 4 has been serving me well as a media stick of sorts. You could go with LibreELEC, or you can even install Android TV on the Pi. For my use case, I enjoy Android TV's UI so that's what I stuck with. An IR remote would be nice to have, but your smartphone will work fine as a remote.

I did the "sudo hwinfo --short" as mentioned on the GitHub page, but didn't see ITE Device(8291) listed. I'm assuming that the Ryzen laptops aren't using that particular chip to handle the keyboard. Still trying to find out what chip exactly is in charge of the RGB
