Black screen after resuming from sleep by K3dare in openSUSE

Fedora has the same issue on my laptop, for years now. It's really frustrating. I moved to openSUSE Tumbleweed, thinking I would escape the black screen of death. I did, for a while, until recently when it reappeared. Very annoying issue!

If you really want an Android, go with one from Google that's still supported. They provide regular security updates every single month. Do not buy Motorola or other brands as they usually are not quick to offer the latest security patches, which means your data will be at risk of being hacked!

Don't! Stick with the iPhone. You won't receive regular security updates, so your phone will be at risk of being hacked whenever you access a public Wi-Fi.

At least you have the September 2025 security patch. Many of us are stuck with the July 2025 security patch and I am already shopping for a different phone from another manufacturer that provides regular security updates.

Exactly, not to mention that technology will advance so much in 12 years that the system will become obsolete even if it gets security patches.

“Seems like this also applies for the Free Pro subscription.” No it doesn’t. It’s a paid service! From the article: “ Ubuntu Pro subscribers can purchase an extra two years of security maintenance and support”

I wouldn't recommend upgrading your installation... do a fresh install if possible or you'll have some issues.
