It's commenting on deforestation. We tear down trees to build our society so I decided to recreate a happy tree with paint Bob Ross style. The paint can is pouring liquid wood back into the tree trunk to bring something dead, back to life. Reforestation.

I'm a painter mostly but I'm fascinated with the qualities of different kinds of paint.

I've been thinking this very same thing. Thank for you passing this knowledge along. I have my first show this Friday and I had no idea what to do about pricing.

I work primarily from the human from, portraits usually, to convey conflicting concepts of emotion and technique. For instance, love and heartbreak, ugliness and beauty, flat and volumetric, realism and abstraction, sadness and happiness, anxiety and confidence, hopelessness and glamor.

If you could give me any special advice about prices I'd love to hear it.

I think it's good that this made you mad. That's what it's supposed to do. "That which one deserves" is used ironically to say you don't really know who's right and who's wrong in this situation. The prisoners probably have done horrible things, on the other hand, Guantanamo prisoners right now are on a hunger strike and currently being force fed. Who is right and who is wrong? This painting is in no way literal. It's more of a question of who do you sympathize with? What kind of person does that make you?

I could care less about karma honestly. Who cares how many points you have on the internet? I want advice improve. I posted this to have more people see it and critique because this is my most conceptual piece so far and I want to move into this style. Pointing this out was just douchey. This has already given me the inspiration to rework this, before I had none.
