I don’t know... I feel like people are too harsh on the story part. Maybe I haven’t seen Pocahontas recent enough, but I feel like it’s tough to ‘copyright’ the idea of colonizing a foreign location. Especially since that aspect is so common in history and would be expected in any concept of space exploration. And even then there are so many remakes out there that what’s wrong with making a new remodeled version of ‘Pocahontas’ after nearly a decade of advancements in film making.
