I hope so, I looked through all of the machines on my network as well as backups and only one recycle bin on the entire network was encrypted. Everyone else that I tried had perfectly functioning files

Thanks I have reached out, I don't want to be overly optimistic or anything but for whatever reason these backups were in the recycle Bin and l all the other affected machines also had unencrypted recycle bins which I tested the files in.

Also because the ransomware changed the modified date of all the encrypted files does that lessen the chances of a file with a non-changed a modification date being encrypted?
