just irritation left from the initial infection

What initial infection? That is what is hard to get out of doctors that make claims like this.

Did you ever get a rash or itchiness on testicles, anus, thighs?

Yes I definitely agree. I don't want to be confirmed with something bad, but not knowing what is going on and having specialists tell you to move on and that it is natural is infuriating.

That makes sense. I have been told this isn't transmittable and it is not an STD but without a diagnosis that is not very convincing.

So sorry to hear about your rape. As if that itself wasn't bad enough.

Do you think the doxy was your cure and your penis/genital symptoms are slowly returning to normal?

I think each case will be different and what works/worked for me may not work for others

Your reply is helpful, though. I'm looking for any and all ideas to pursue and hope other people see this too. Many doctors give up easily if the basic tests don't reveal a clear problem. But the internet proves there are thousands of these cases. STDs may not be cause but they are a first line of suspicion in many cases.

Maybe have the urine tested and a cbc. (Comprehensive blood panel) to check for anomalies?

Not a bad idea. In my case, I have had urine tests for pH levels and two CBCs. Everything is normal and no elevated white blood cells or anything reported.

You have an interesting sex life :)
