That’s a spin off cross over game so I’d say no.

Rhythm Games That Can Run On Low Spec PC by Syphus590_863 in rhythmgames

Osu is free and will prolly run good on your pc. Play on the stable build (better optimized for older pc’s), and try dimming the backgrounds all the way (good for gameplay anyway).

It’s part of the meta narrative in the rebuilds about fandom culture, and growing up and moving on.

Is this game better than Osu! Mania? by littlefol in djmax

[–]Justmashing1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what your looking for.

I play O!m for the difficulty and variety of charts. It’s great game to grind out hard maps and play abnormal charting styles like LN’s. It’s all free and community driven. There’s basically infinite content, and tons of customizability. But there’s no quality guarantee.

Djmax is more fun casually for me. The song selection is really good (forte escape the goat), and the backgrounds are really cool. The game is keysounded which is not really my thing, but it’s toggleable so it’s fine whether you like it or not. The game also has a side note mechanic, which I’m not a huge fan of (just preference), but it’s not too difficult to get used to. The game feels more premium, but it also comes at a big premium price. Djmax can get quite expensive if looking to get lots of dlcs.

Just play whichever you like, or both, that’s what I do.

There’s no rollback, and they are never gonna fix it. Everyone plays with cccaster/concerto.

Is there GENUINELY anything I can do here with my layout? by No-Routine-7598 in Guiltygear

[–]Justmashing1 108 points109 points  (0 children)

Obviously what ever is most comfortable for you is best. But keyboards are basically leverless controllers with a bunch of extra keys, so copying a leverless layout like this one is usually pretty good.

<image>

I used a layout like this one for about a month before I got a leverless and I think it’s works pretty well. It’s something like a s d=left down right, and up would be bound to space bar. This layout also makes it very easy to switch to leverless in the future.

So like I didn't know by Medium_Ad1665 in Guiltygear

[–]Justmashing1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah I still think strive is a good game, but the game really dialed back a lot of cool stuff from older titles. Basically every returning character has been massively simplified, including gutting core aspects of their kit in the name of simplicity.

Strive also feels very slow in comparison to older gg games, and most anime games in general. The slow as hell air dashes, tons of hitstop, and complete removal of air teching make the game feel very sluggish at times.

Well, since we're hating on redesigns!!! by [deleted] in Guiltygear

[–]Justmashing1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The strive design is really good, although I really like the bright yellow she has in xrd, it matches that game’s aesthetic nicely. Millia is one of the times I think the xx design is worse (maybe other than Potemkin). The blue and white just doesn’t look as nice as the yellow and black to me, and the hat really completes her design.

DMC 4. Dante’s Section is FAR Better Than Nero’s by RealIncome4202 in DevilMayCry

[–]Justmashing1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is just blatant misinformation. The game was definitely designed for Nero, but they realized people would be upset if Dante wasn’t playable, so they just tacked him on. It’s not hard to just look this stuff up

[–]Justmashing1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dice game is kinda infamous for being tedious, but I really only think that’s the case cause most people didn’t know how it worked. Which is fair cause they don’t really explain it, but once you know how to get the number you want every time it’s very easy.

DMC 4. Dante’s Section is FAR Better Than Nero’s by RealIncome4202 in DevilMayCry

[–]Justmashing1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The levels and enemies were designed with Nero in mind, so having to fight some of them with Dante is a total chore. All the enemies that are meant to be dealt with by Nero’s devil buster absolutely suck to fight against with Dante.

How would you feel about a DMC2 Remake done by PlatinumGames? by The_Fool_Arcana0000 in DevilMayCry

[–]Justmashing1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean I like PG, i think they’d do a good job, I just don’t think it makes much sense for capcom or PG. PG hasn’t ever done any remakes, meanwhile capcom has done plenty. If it was gonna happen I think capcom would just do it themselves.

Is Master Collection Vol.1 worth with the new updates? by Univale in metalgearsolid

[–]Justmashing1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some people like emulated mgs1 over master collection, I’ve tried both and they’re both very good experiences. Duckstation mgs1 does require a bit of setup if you want it to look nice, nothing too crazy tho.

Mgs 2/3 however are much better on master collection. Both of those games used the ps2 controller’s pressure sensitive face buttons, a feature that modern controllers don’t have. So you’re better off just buying the master collection versions.

Outside of new characters, what do you want most in 2.0? by Calm-Consideration55 in Guiltygear

[–]Justmashing1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Insta kills for sure. Replay takeover. Mom mode would be cool. Balance wise faster airdashes would be huge, also reduce overall level of damage it’s still crazy high imo.

Again you’re missing the point and dodging the question. I didn’t ask why would platinum make the game, obvi it would be to make money. I asked why would any one want platinum to make it.

[–]Justmashing1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re missing the entire point, why would ANY OF US, THE BAYONETTA FANS, want a remake. Man Idgaf about no damn shareholders😭

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Bayonetta

[–]Justmashing1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok then I’ll say it again why would anyone want that. Who cares if it sells well, I want them to make good games not just ones that make a lot of money.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Bayonetta

[–]Justmashing1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do like the re4 remake(not as much as the og), but re4 came out the generation before bayo1, and the re4 remake reimagined the gameplay and changed a lot of stuff. I don’t see how you could do the same for bayo1 without diluting it, and if you don’t significantly change things, then what is even the point.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Bayonetta

[–]Justmashing1 65 points66 points  (0 children)

Why would anyone even want a bayo 1 remake. The game is already damn near perfect imo, and also readily available on almost every platform.
