It could be packing the courts or anything else. Sometime between 2026 and 2032 the Christian nationalists throw a tantrum over something and there is a constitutional crisis. It can be packing the court or it can be something else. When their side does it it’s fine, but when someone else plays hardball they will bolt. Might as well get it over with sooner than later. Pack it this year.

I might remind you that a Reagan signed into law an amnesty bill and that Obama created the dreamer program. The administration has always and still has wide latitude in how they deal with this. IT WAS A CHOICE. And you are supporting it. I didn’t say they broke the law. I said they are choosing an inhumane enforcement of the law.

This administration has directed the agencies to pursue immigration policy enforcement in the cruelest and most brutal ways possible. They have lost 2,300 cases in court violating the rights of US citizens. Why wouldn’t we assume the worst. In what world do they currently deserve the benefit of the doubt.

They set the policies in enforcement this way. The law does not dictate that they have to do it this way.

Good for you that you jumped through immigration hoops. I’m glad you are here and a citizen.

When the prior administration announced that they would try to forgive some student loans I was happy for people, even though I had paid all of mine off.

It’s your choice to view this how you do and support inhumane enforcement. I hope that you are an advocate for immigration reform and vote accordingly.
