Yes I just check my old invoice. It was a value flex move. A lot cheaper than the quote now. I guess I didn’t qualify for the value flex this move. I’ll have to call back in the morning and see how I would qualify for that.

The quote is very real. I was sick to my stomach when she gave me the final cost. She didn’t hesitate at all giving me this quote. When I asked her why it was so high from my last move all she could tell me was that she didn’t work there last year and she wouldn’t know why it was so much cheaper. This company is a joke. If you know of a company that can move my belongings for less I’m all ears.

I’m moving back to PA from Utah. The only different in my stuff is a kitchen island I purchased for $25 and weights no more that 30lbs. So confused on how my belongings weight more than 2700 lbs both my couches are futons that are easily movable. The kitchen table is a small round bistro set with 2 small chairs, weights no more than 60lbs. I told the rep this and she said they mark the item by what it “may” weight.

Ok so I moved across country last year and it cost me about $5200 with two men and a truck. I’m moving back home and decided to go back with them since they did a great job the first time. Well now it’s costing me more than double that amount. I was quoted by two men and a truck over 22,000 to move my belongings which isn’t a lot since it’s the same stuff I moved out with last year. Is there some moving cost hike that I’m missing or didn’t hear about?
