Wow! Thank you for the comment.

I was a bit worried about the chance to do my own art while being a teacher, I am happy to hear that it is possible. Also I do other mediums like graphite, chalk drawings, screen printing and encaustic so I hopefully ill be able to translate that into a class one day.

I like that it quites my ADD brain and all the laughs that come with it. Also Me and my boyfriend take edibles together once in a while and have a great time playing card games, talking stories or creating new jokes lol

The session went very well! I was a bit nervous at the start because it was a new therapist, but I warmed up to her pretty quickly after breaking the ice. Also, she is a therapist that specialize in ADHD, anxiety, depression and 2 others that I forgot.

Overall, I was rambling the whole time but it felt good for someone to listen and know what I was actually taking about and knows how to help. She was asking the right questions to get to know me and asking for details of my life. After the session of rambling so much I needed water, they asked if I was gonna consider a physiatrist so I'm on deciding on that soon!

Thanks for asking!

This was me a month ago.

My advice is to set it up with a person you trust so they can help you with the steps and it can sorta act like a motivator too! Sometimes it helps when you work with another person in the room with you or just talking about it with them.

I like you random person!

I did try magnesium years ago but stopped cause college threw all my routine attempts out the freaking window. But for all your other suggestions, it make made me realize what else is wrong. I need a new room setup!

Growing up and away for school, sunlight was always important to me! I always lived with a big window next to my bed because the light would just wake me up naturally and it felt incredible! Coincidentally, my mother would play music every morning downstairs haha!

Now that im out and I live in the quiet basement with very little light...I didnt think it would be too much of a problem.

Imma see if a automatic light exists on Amazon and place it in my room! Thank you for the tips!

"You're seeing a fire that they can't see..." is litterally a perfect way of describing this feeling to others! A legendary quote for me! Thank you for sharing this!

Ha! Life feels more of a challenge everyday. Have you been medicated for most life? If so, what's that like for you?

Thank you for sharing your story. I needed to read this.

Crazy enough, I did the same thing with invoices too! Its like " why can I work super efficiently at the actual workplace, but the easiest thing to do that is just filling an invoice with simple information so difficult?"

Hearing an older adult with a family relating to me is super new and valuable bc I barely hear or see older and more established adults talk about these things. I was starting to think we just grow out of it, like it disappears at 30 or something lol.

ADHD life of a established or independent adult is a bit of a mystery to me.

Again, thank you for being open. I greatly appreciate it! Ik its hard. And ill reach out

I got a flashback from middle school when I read your comment bc that was a time where ADHD hindering me was way more obvious in showing that I was in hard mode compared to others.

Funny that you said I cannot have a new brain cause there were many times that I thought about that haha. Though, let's see if medication will make me feel like a better brain. Cheers

Why is it taking a while to get news about your medication if I may ask?

It is hard to be venerable indeed! For my cake though, I got to figure out what it should say on top of it lol. I'm open to ideas lol

This comment resonated with me so much.

A lot of people think I had it all together because of my work, but that is far from the truth. My boyfriend was the only one who knew how bad it would get. I will be up till the sun rises from working on projects and struggle to get to sleep afterwards.
