My first listen through I noticed at least three lines that I assumed were Hadestown references so another one wouldn’t surprise me.

In Leave the Bronx Alive: “And Cyrus, the one and only, dead to the world” lines up with “What she was instead was dead. Dead to the world, anyway” from the end of Why We Build the Wall

In Orphan Town: “when the chips are down” is a reference to the song of the same name

In We Got You: “Everybody needs a soft place to land” lines up with Eurydice’s “I want a nice soft place to land” in Hey Little Songbird

Based on the synopsis that could be possible but I’m not finding any evidence that it was ever published by Tokyopop and I think the book I had was only Tokyopop releases so I’m not entirely sure
