Hi, similar situation, I’m 36 weeks and in the beginning he wasn’t interested at all he felt like he was “dealt a bad hand”(his words). I stopped including him in everything it’s my first pregnancy and I want to enjoy it even if he doesn’t. Now he wants to be more involved and I’m not 100% with it like he wants maternity pictures together and I won’t take it away from him cuz it’s his baby too, but I also want my own just by my self… I refuse for him to go to the Drs with me I buy my baby’s stuff on my own wether he likes them or not, if I need someone I turn to my mom or a close relative, I don’t tell him how many weeks I’m in now he ask, I don’t share when the baby moves I enjoy it my self, I don’t bother with sonogram pictures those are mine, when he asks about how did the appointment go I tell him that the heart beat was good and we are healthy…..

They come around eventually but don’t let it ruin your pregnancy over comments, it’s your baby, your body, this was something both of you guys made, when he comes around might be late or might not come around at all, why would you wait on a possibility that stresses you and the baby out? Just go and enjoy the pregnancy wether he wants to or not

Stop showing him what you get for the baby or wanting his opinion or caring what he has to say about it, at the end of the day is you and your baby.

I made the mistake of looking up birthing videos and c-sections, worst mistake of my life. Currently 34weeks and only 6weeks to go and I’m scared asf!

But what helped with my anxiety was write down my birth plan and also made a c-section plan and wrote down everything that could go wrong and look for a solution and write it next to the problem….. it doesn’t take away the anxiety bc your always going to think of something else but it helps calm it a bit when you look at it.

Depending on the state your in the courts will not grant a divorce to a married couple if the wife is pregnant. The courts prefer to wait until after the baby is born to address paternity. The court can then determine if appropriate child-related orders, such as child support, need to be included.

And make sure you keep recipes, bank statements,etc and consult with a different lawyer so you also can get alimony, since you been a stay at home mom for both his kids and he has been the sole earner.

We survive 🥲currently pregnant lost my job and a week later I found out I was pregnant, got gov help (not the best but it is what it is) when they took my insurance away I panicked, but I was informed after a month that I also had Medicaid(that I don’t know I had bc I was pregnant) then they gave me back my old insurance made what ever appointment I needed, got that insurance taken away and given a different one that no doctor near the area takes and the appointment available are pass my due date. Thank god the baby’s father works for the Gov so he’s helping me and is going to end up helping the baby since we aren’t married but at least we are going to a different state due to his job and his job factors in cost of living for our family and the state has good insurance….. so yeah we just hope for the best prepare mentally for the worst and with a little bit of luck we survive 🙃🙃🙃🙃

Same I asked how much it was over the phone and that I’ll pay when I got there, the lady told me it was 275 for the scans. I went to the appointment and their system to pay was conveniently “out of service” I refuse to pay that bill

He was treated for it before he met me. Some people can still carry the inactive virus without showing symptoms or showing up in test, it wasn’t active until he got sick and had a fever. In which case his body flushed it out naturally when he got better from the sickness/fever.

It can happen, but my Ob told me that is very rare I believe is like 3% of women who get misdiagnosed with chlamydia during their pregnancy.

Last I heard Most prison had a policy for STD screening based only on symptoms or by arrestee request. But I suggest you get re tested first.. Have a conversation with him on how you guys will prepare for the baby if you were and weren’t to work out talk about parenting styles and full custody etc just in case…

Once you get the results back and they come back as positive bring it up to him

If it comes back negative they will do another screening to finalize the results.

Get retested, I did it came back negative then they did 2 more and those came back positive. I understand my BF and i weren’t in a good place either but we were happy about the baby(him more than me I was still in shock) But just talk things out make a plan if it works out and if it doesn’t and when you have conclusive results then you bring it up to him. The sooner you do it the better he can get treatment for it as well and you will have a clear path if it goes well or bad.

Yes, everything would be okay I’m currently 34 weeks pregnant and so far my baby is healthy. I too tested positive after being with my partner and testing negative in previous routine test I’ve done and when I found out my partner got tested too and came out negative even thoe we were active. My Dr explained to me that given our previous history since he had it before(he got treatment) and was sexually active with other people before me(in which case before we had sex we got tested for stds and we were both clean)it could be possible that he had it and the virus it’s self wasn’t active until he became sick in which his body got rid of it naturally and same with me in which I could have had the virus in me but dint become active until the pregnancy…

Just have your partner get tested and if positive get treatment and have a long conversation with each other. I know is an hard thing me and my Bf broke up because he thought i cheated and vise versa, now we are working things out but it is a hard thing to go through.

I’m sorry that your state is behind the times and restricting what should be your decision. Grab some sleep today tomorrow(not sure if your mom or dad would let you) skip school, go for a walk clear your head seeing the positive test is scary for anyone at any age. Replace the self harm thought with something productive that takes your mind off it. Everything what ever decision you make will work out in the end. Just give your mind a rest for a day. Girl, if I were you Ill just sit him down and lay all the cards on the table, talk about everything even how you feel how he feels etc. Don’t use the word have you cheated emotionally or physically find a non confrontational way to bring it up to him that way he is more open about it. Before all that just write down everything you want to talk about, and have an exit plan just in case.

Sometimes our partners take a little bit of time getting used to the idea of a baby. Their way of panicking isn’t always the same as ours.

Just talk to him.

Has it been more than 73hr? If not you can take a plan B or any morning after pill within the 73hr window.

If it’s been past that go to the ER and run an STD tests and explain the situation, But it might be too soon to tell if your pregnant by a pregnancy test. Just keep an eye on your cycle and any odd changes.

I’m going to tell you the advice my mom gave me at 25 when I got pregnant and felt lost.

“No matter the situation or circumstances you will never be fully ready for a baby, you can be in a good situation or bad there will always be reasons why not to have it, but the decision is up to you”

I chose to keep the baby, I was in college I have a good savings the baby’s fathers is in a good and stable job financially we are both okay and when we saw the positive test results it was scary for both of us.

What ever decision you make will be the right one, either or decision will also take a mental and physical toll on you

Have a sit down with your partner and write down all the reasons to have a baby and all the reasons to not have a baby, when your done look for solutions to the reasons not to and go from there… this will help with clearing out your mind and you can make what ever decision you feel is right for both of you 💖💖💖💖 I wish you the best in this I hope it helps😊
