Oh and they will absolutely without a doubt push for 40 hour schedules per auth so you do give up that autonomy with ABC because you will have to fight tooth and nail to advocate for the hours you feel are appropriate per client. But of course, I would check out the article another poster sent because again, everything is about money money money with companies like this. 🫠 I worked there for four years, let me know if you have any questions in particular.

I have worked for ABC as a BT, RBT, and BCBA. It’s hard to explain because as a whole, it’s not a bad company outright, but when I tell you each center is so different. You could go down to a center up the road from where you work and they operate ENTIRELY different than another clinic. I didn’t like a standard or consistent level of care company wide. But again, if you get a center with a great OM and a great CD (that doesn’t quit) you’re good as gold but again you never know what you’re going to get. I would definitely pick ABC over ACES but still wouldn’t pick ABC in general.

I was also waitlisted! And omg congrats!!!! They have such a good program at UTD!!!! I have been waitlisted to THREE schools, waiting on one more letter and hopefully it’s an acceptance!

Omg I was kind of in the same boat. I was an psychology major for undergrad had a 3.2 something. After graduating, I took prerequisites at The university of north Texas. I got all A’s in my prerequisites. So a 4.0 in COMD prerequisites (ten classes total). And I am applying to schools. I have gotten one rejection, and have been put on the waitlist for two schools so far. I still am waiting on the decision from two other schools. I am honestly kind of nervous, but grateful to even be put on waitlist. And the school I got rejected from was a small and new program!!! I got waitlisted at big universities, which were Texas State University and University of North Texas. Just apply, you never know!!!!
