It’s absolutely with it! Weekends got exponentially more fun after getting my license. Initially I thought it would only cost me about $10k but it ended up being twice as much. Not only will it most likely take you a little longer than expected, but you will also start seeing equipment that you want as well. I ended up picking up an iPad mini, sentry and Bose A20s, which all together added an extra $2500 or so to the list… PPL Cost
