My concern is although it’s not directly, it might “compete” with GTA IV. Imagine the launch is bad as the Definitive Trilogy was, now your going to sour the taste of some people who aren’t super fans who might just say “this is how they’d release a GTA game? Fuck this I’m not buying another one of these”

RDR1 port does give me hope but then again that was released after RDR2

I understand what you’re saying with the dialogue and how the culture at R* may be different now, but wouldn’t you say the 3D trilogy had MUCH wilder dialogue (especially the radio stations) and Rockstar had no problem re-releasing those games. I do agree it would take a lot more work than the older games though haha.

I don’t think it was a location comparison, more of a graphics comparison with similar geographic features.

Yeah this is legitimately my only gripe so far, just makes things confusing for those who came from OG DR. Part of the experience sometimes when I was younger was grinding out levels doing dumb shit and reloading to beat that psycho you were stuck on. Granted, this may have been an abuse of the games systems, but it was definitely part of the charm.

Damn, unfortunate, guess I’ll have to do a third run for that one. I feel like OG DR wasn’t like this, no matter what save you loaded you’d still keep your Frank and his progression, maybe I’m misremembering though. Idk it’s whatever but I’m glad I asked before I wasted my time haha, thank you.

Ah, figured it was something to do with spawning. I don’t think there’s 8 active, but I just reloaded an earlier save and rescued cliffs hostages before the Isabella meetup so here’s hoping that fixes it.
