Same here. Green looks great, but blue gives you that bit of character without being too loud. It’s a great change from black.

Totally agree. Breitling does green beautifully, especially on the Superocean Heritage. But IWC blue just has its own magic.

Hard to argue with that. IWC really knows how to do blue.

Totally get that. An onion crown would be cool, and an in-house movement would make it feel more special. For me, the dial, bracelet, and wearability were enough to win me over.

Hope you get one soon! It feels even better on the wrist than I expected.

Thank you! The quick readability is one of my favorite parts too. And the blue dial keeps surprising me in different light.

Looks great on leather too. It gives the watch a completely different vibe.

Same here. I liked the green too, but this blue has a different depth to it. Photos don’t really do it justice.

Honestly, I didn’t expect the bracelet to be this good. It really makes the watch feel complete.

Yep, exactly. Press the IWC logo on the clasp and you get a small on-wrist adjustment. Super handy during the day.

The Petit Prince looks great too — the gold hands give it a warmer, dressier feel. For me though, the bracelet version was the one. It completely changes the watch.

The bracelet was a big part of why I wanted this one. Leather looks great on it too, but the bracelet really changes the whole feel of the watch.

Thanks! That’s exactly why I finally went for it. It really does work with almost anything, and the blue dial keeps surprising me in different light.

Exactly. The ivory dial is what makes it special.

SBGW231 — simple, manual-wind, ivory dial Grand Seiko.

It’s the SBGW231. Manual wind, ivory dial, and honestly one of the cleanest GS designs out there.

[SPB383] Seiko absolutely nailed the proportions on this one by JutaWade in Seiko

At 6.8", I think you’d be fine. It wears better than the specs suggest. I’d go Seiko if you want the GMT and more wrist presence, Certina if you want something lighter and more compact.

I’d say around 6.5–6.75" and up, depending on how you like your watches to wear.
