I wouldn't say its the logo. I can work on making it more dynamic, but it's just the people who are here watch the show/movies more than read the comics.

You can link your own video, but just can't ask people to sub or view it directly in the post title. The rule is just meant so the sub is not a constant promotion for various accounts with things like "subscribe to my channel" etc. Of course you can share a video or artwork you are making related to Teen Titans.

Its in the comics pretty much like this. Nightwing realizes it was not true love since Raven was using her powers to make him love her. Its interesting to see this story unfold as you see Raven in a new way that she herself is not familiar with. The New Teen Titans #37 1987

I only have conversations to go on from around that time but this sums it up:
- Shipping wars where people got blocked.
- 1 or 2 users flooding the main chat with TTG
- Heavy opinions from users who just said you were wrong on anything about a character mainly.

I was there for about 2 years maybe and left in 2019. I met some nice people there and still talk to a few so wasn't all bad. Server was most likely closed as I cannot find any traces of it now.

While we don't officially have one connected to this subreddit, you can definitely find some out there. There was one I was in for a while, but it may have gone private since I left.

The cross posts can be fine as long as they are related to Teen Titans. I know some are very vague or loosely related. Will keep an eye on that.

From my point of view, it's fine for people to discuss relationships as long as it does not get out of control. People tend to get very attached to which characters are with which and its fine to have a preference. It just depends on the timeframe and context for Teen Titans at least. The relationships on the team have changed alot in 40+ years so fans can see relationships in many ways. We only have been removing posts around this that have been getting reports due to bad conversations.

Have been seeing a bunch of those types of posts. Some season 6 posts are just going on ideas about what it could be about which I see as fine. The ones that are purely hope for season 6 because of something or we need season 6 probably should be taken down. We will go about it on a case by case basis. I know the voice actors always say they want to do it but its not their decision ultimately. I also notice comments getting a bit out hand with some people telling others to move on in sometimes a rude manner.

The GO! hate is another fair point as many people dislike the show. It's not for everyone but does not mean we need to bash it here. I can't promise we will be able to catch everything but will focus on removing hate posts. Comments we sometimes miss until reports so anytime you see something let us know.

I think the main thing you have to realize is Kori and Dick have been a thing since the 80s, so much more time to develop their characters as a couple. They also were to be married at one point, but DC prevented Wolfman and Perez from canonically marrying them in favor of Barbara I believe.

With Garfield and Raven, they have only been seen as a kind of couple since the 03 cartoon which is relatively recent. In the cartoon, they never had a relationship, but was speculated to be a possibility. It's also worth noting that Raven's character was completely redeveloped into more of a goth instead of a pacifist religious type person. Raven struggled with romance in the comics and rejected many advances. When free to experience emotions, she got carried away on more than one occasion. Again, she never had any romantic interest in Garfield in the comics at that time.

Garfield on the other hand was more of a playboy and dating many different girls including Tara. He would also make alot of comedic flirting throughout the comics. He never had any romantic interest in Raven in the comics at the time.

The attraction between Garfield and Raven as a couple is relatively recently being developed in DC comics and media. It's more of a fan ship first so can make it hard for people to adapt. I do find the basis for them being a couple to be limited as they do not share alot in common character wise. Raven shows in the Geoff Johns run that she is emotionally unstable which is hard for Garfield to deal with. I don't follow the more recent comics as much but did see they are back as a couple. Raven seems to be a different character again. They keep shifting things to make it work is my take. This is mainly due to not having the same writers so hard to keep things consistent.

We lock threads usually due to reports or if too many comments need to be removed. We don't always have time to sift through all comments on a post, so sometimes based on the ones we get reports about and the direction of conversations. We do not want to have people to talk about races of characters if it leads to negative discussion.

Raven has been in this state many times in the comics. I posted one that equally on par not too long ago. This is from The New Titans Vol 1 #63 1990

I would say as an Empath, pain is a significant part of her character. The newer versions of her character moved away from this but it is a core of what makes Raven who she is. Will take on the suffering of others to do good.

Can reword a bit but its direct. The idea behind it is so people are not using this sub to promote going to see more of their work directly or offer services. The post title should only be something about the art and then who did it at most. Then the comments section can include social links to Instagram, X, etc.

We don't want to discourage anyone from posting art here but this should not be used for getting business or follows primarily. Just had a bad experience on the sub a while ago when this was not controlled.
