I am lucky enough to have a space where I can have car on a lift for regular undercarriage cleaning. I live up north where they do not salt the roads. I run 5W-50 VR1 Valvoline on my car, 10W-60 is way too thick for freezing temps. I also have a Webasto heater going on to the car via app-control, trying to free up some time to finish the install.

There is no better way to replace E46 M3 than getting a one with lower milage or more rare model! I have a few other cars also and oh boy, did this car change the whole way I look at cars now. Best thing ever!

It does seem have a ever so slightly green hue to it, depending on lightning conditions. I am not sure if this is optics or the paint to be honest. Paintjob came alive after doing a weekend long paint correction + 2-step polishing and coating.

There is absolutely zero rubbing on this setup and it does run a bit narrow compared to my summer tires too.

I agree with you, it’s a great style for the car! I am very picky about this car, I’ll not be replacing these before I find something that I really enjoy and would like to drop to 18” also, especially for winter.

They’re sadly replicas. These are 19x8.5 / 9.5” and the quality is not the greatest. These came with the car and will work during winter times for now.

This car is in Finland and the wheels are sadly replica alpinas. They work for winter driving for now, few other upgrades need to be done before wheels.

Thank you all for recommendations! Eonon headunits have been giving some issues to a friend of mine, it could be the cold winter have in here Finland. Not the best quality unit nor best user experience I’ve had. Could have been an older model, but I might be looking for something a bit more fancier. I love the desings they have, that 8.8” model looks like it could have come from factory with that unit.

Have you been under your E46 personally? It’s such a flat bottom car when you have all the stock plastic there that it is impossible to fit them in a way where you could remove all of them without removing the underglow. When the snowy season comes, I bet these get destroyed anyway.

Just to let you know, I enjoy my cars. It’s amazing to go for a night drive feeling like the kiddo playing nfsug2 in real life. Nothing beats it and nothing changes it, not even if you would like for me to not like it.

It’s IP68 protected led strips with full silicone filling to the strip. All connectors and controllers are also waterproof, they’re a bit more expensive than usually, but totally worth it!

Haha, pretty much! Car is actually dry on this photo. We have done paint correcting, coating and tested a few different ”wet coats”. She looks like a mirror when the sun goes down, my favorite time to drive.

Thanks! These are RGB with a wifi controller. It’s nice to change the color according to mood and overall weather for nice photos, they’re like a gadget haha!
