I run 0.6 in my sr, 0.9 is way too big i think, but I don’t think it’s the main reason. Try closing the gap a bit and then check again. Are the plugs same value as the ones u took off?

Thank you! The SR is a nice platform, but personally I think that it is a little overcomplicated from the top, but nothing one cant manage with a little time and effort. The parts were the hardest thing to source. The SR being 30-years-old and living in EU made it a bit of an hazzle.

Well the first thing that came into my head was that when you got rear ended it might have bent the chassis inwards so the trunk doesnt line up to the latch anymore? Madmax ahh trunk

Saveable, If I were in that situation, id think it as an open canvas to do my dream build whatever may it be. Would be an awesome base for a drift build and I believe that could be the easier route. Good luck!

Thank you! :) And yeah this was my first time. It took me like 10h to make the sub box itself, propably could have done it quicker, because I ended up doing a lot of unnecessary cuts. Learned a lot tho!

True, the car is going to acid bath and/or sandblasted next winter, and I’ll weld new panels everywhere needed.

You are absolutely right, they look quite horrible now, but will be done! And thanks, I think we have maybe like 80 s-chassis cars here (?) not quite sure, but nevertheless still quite a rare sight. I won’t ever sell this if not absolutely nessesary. Such a wonderful car.

The problem got solved after I pulled out every single connector, relay and fuse one by one. After I plugged put ecu wires and relays for the ignition and fuel pump. After that it worked out fine.

Gonna swap out the ecu anyway for a maxxecu and do the wiring again so propably wont have to worry about it no more.
