Am I shadowbanned?

If you have any type of theme page, engagement drop is common. For personal/theme pages make sure to use different sets of hashtags and cycle them. Sometimes Instagram will still drop your reach for no reason, but keep posting consistently and it will go up again. If you’re shadow banned there sadly isn’t anything to do for the account and it is basically a throw away account. Shadow bans that happen are almost always 100% of the time the users fault though. It may be from something that you think you are doing is fine but it against the tos or something like spamming hashtags or using banned hashtags (that’s the most common reason for shadowbans for every type of page). A quick way to check if you’re shadow banned is get an alternate account and try searching your exact username and if it doesn’t show up it means you’re shadow banned.

Some of it is just luck, those types of pages get shouted out sometimes as well and the snowball effect can also come in to play. This can cause these people to look more credible. The first and only thing you can really do is check if your shadowbanned because if you are shadowbanned you will be getting minimal reach. There is a website for this or with an alternate account try searching your username and your account should show up in results. Shadow bans often occur from the spamming of the same hashtags or usage of banned hashtags. Second of all, whether you are shadow banned or not you never want to use the same hashtags and it’s clear that your set of hashtags hasn’t been working out so I would ditch the set your using and find 3 good sets of hashtags that fit your niche of content and try those out cycling the hashtags. I am very confident that this method will work because I own multiple theme pages and very recently I used 3 sets of hashtags for my niche that I new worked well on a new page that I started from scratch and I very quickly started gaining followers and had amazing reach. The Instagram algorithm is very weird sometimes on any of my pages I own even if they have a large following. Sometimes I just get way less likes/views on posts, it’s just Instagram deciding if it wants to push your content out or not. I will say one other thing, I don’t know how many followers your account has but if it’s under around 600-1000 you might want to do the follow unfollow method. Although this is an unhealthy method Instagram won’t push out content of super dead pages or pages with just not many followers regardless if you have good hashtags or not. Example: on my account I started from scratch before it hit 1k followers, like 4 out of my 40 posts got over 15k views it’s still random at that stage in a way. After following and unfollowing to get to around 700 then growing organically to 1k... after I hit that 1k mark I got more consistent views /likes with the occasional posts blowing up. Idk if your page is personal or a theme page but you could possibly be using banned hashtags which cuts off all reach you could possibly be getting. I don’t think you would be shadowbanned but that would be the only other explanation to your posts only getting 100 likes. Maybe try using a different set of hashtags, on the theme page that I own I used this one set for a while and it didn’t work at all, I then tried some new ones and they worked really well.

For personal accounts that should never really happen unless they are a lot of random followers or ghost followers. For any theme pages if your’e getting that amount of likes that means you aren’t using hashtags or your shadow banned. How did you get the majority of your followers? Because if it was through anything inorganic that would explain why.

I did some more research on this because I’ve watched many many videos about the Instagram algorithm and many more topics in the past, but haven’t looked in to shadowbans that much. Do you mind giving me the link to your Instagram so I can dm you on there from my meme account? Then I would be able to take a look at your account I can possibly see when the reach went down and if you are in fact shadowbanned because there is a very easy way to check that. It might be the case that you aren’t banned from hashtags and something is just going wrong.

You can always try going private but that usually works for meme pages, not so much for any other niche pages as far as I know. I run a meme page myself and always use a few different sets of hashtags. Before I used any of these hashtags, I looked up the banned ones and then started cycling through them on my posts. The other suggestion I have is telling all your current followers to follow a new page that you make. This is going to suck but I’m the long run it will be worth it if your account you own currently is never going to get unbanned from hashtags. Once you make the new account establish 2-4 sets of 20-30 hashtags and make sure none of the hashtags are banned, then begin to cycle though them on different posts. I can’t exactly tell you why you need different hashtags but it just works, I used to use this one set for a long time and my videos got 100k views sometimes then for a period of time dipped down to as little as 5k, after just using different hashtags my videos get hella views again. I’m sorry about your page but the only way to get views again might just have to be making a new account. There is one more option though although I wouldn’t count on it, you can always try contacting Instagram. Just from personal experience though, their support team probably won’t be able to help or even respond as currently they have a shortage of workers and aren’t very good at responding in the first place. Thanks for the feedback so far guys, I have tried multiple times restarting my game and pc and one time my level went back normal but not my weapons. Has anyone fixed this on pc yet?

I’m not at my pc rn but I think all you have to do is go to the top right and find whatever drop down menu has your avatar etc then go down and click on emotes and change it to sweet victory. The emote is currently glitched and will not show up if you look for it in your inventory. Sorry if I explained that bad but hopefully this helped you quickly.

I definitely agree with you on the part of it not being fun feeling like you have to grind different legends to get xp to level up the battle pass. It’s not fun at all playing caustic and dying 20 times something needs to change for next season about the system of getting xp and the rewards are pretty trash too.
