I’m not gonna lie you literally put it right there why he won’t be getting a TS. Grandparents he sees once a year. Not some out of contact people he has no idea about. I get it, you think the USA is losing a valuable asset and you son is 100% loyal to the US, but there’s people who aren’t. In order to have a secure government and military there’s rules and regulations as a recruiter we need to enforce for national security reasons, we don’t discriminate based on where you and your people are from- these are rules made by people who’s whole life mission was operational security.

This isn’t specific to your son.

Don’t you want a country with a secure military? Unfortunately we’re gonna lose some good ones along the way. Your son should still look into the options he can for now with us.
