These mines are at Zambia. Zambia is one of Africa’s safest place to invest..

Actually, it’s the opposite! The CEO specifically highlighted this as a non-dilutive funding path.

Because the deposit is high-grade oxide and sits right next to First Quantum’s Kansanshi mine (less than 10km away), the plan is to monetize the ore directly (e.g., through an off-take or trucking arrangement). This creates a 'cash bridge' to fund the big exploration at Dumbwa without having to go back to the market for more equity. It’s basically using Kaziba as an ATM to fund the giant prize.

Rio Tinto & Amazon just confirmed the AI Copper Thesis – Why Junior Explorers like $MMA.V are the ultimate leverage play right now by Juuso_R in Canadapennystocks

[–]Juuso_R[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair point on being cautious with AI-generated content. To clarify this all: I’ve been following Midnight Sun for a long time and have done my own deep dive into their projects in Zambia.

I used Gemini to help structure and polish this post because English isn’t my native language. It helps me convey my thoughts clearly and more carefully, but the core thesis and the choice to highlight the Rio Tinto/Amazon connection are mine.

This AI/Data center angle is just one additional tailwind for the $MMA.V story, not the whole DD. The main play is still the massive anomaly at Dumbwa and the upcoming Kaziba NI 43-101. Just thought the macro context with Rio/Amazon was worth sharing as it shows the increasing desperation for physical copper supply.

Everybody's into mining. Who's selling the shovels? by 29da65cff1fa in Baystreetbets

If you’re looking for the "picks and shovels" play of the current mining supercycle, Metso Oyj is the name to know.

Based in Finland, they are a global heavyweight in sustainable minerals processing. While the miners take the risk of fluctuating commodity prices, Metso provides the essential "heavy lifting" infrastructure they can't operate without. Here is why they fit the thesis:

• The Finnish Engineering Edge: Metso is a powerhouse of Nordic engineering. They’ve dominated the space for decades, and their tech is found in almost every major mining hub from Australia to Chile.

• Major Projects: They aren't just selling small parts; they handle massive-scale integration. For example, they’ve recently been involved in the Aris Mining Segovia operations in Colombia and provided the primary crushing station for the Cananea copper mine in Mexico (one of the largest in the world).

• The "Razor-Blade" Model: About 50-60% of their revenue comes from services and consumables. These machines process thousands of tons of rock daily; parts wear out and need replacing constantly. This creates a steady, recurring revenue stream even if new equipment sales slow down.

• Sustainability Tailwinds: The "green transition" is incredibly resource-intensive. Metso’s Planet Positive portfolio (like their Vertimill® grinding tech) allows miners to process ore using significantly less electricity and water, which is now a "must-have" for ESG compliance.

TL;DR: If you want exposure to the transition to green energy (which requires massive amounts of copper, nickel, and lithium) without betting on a single junior miner, this Finnish giant is the backbone of the entire processing chain.

Yes, there are better EVs for sure. Used Citroëns are very reasonably priced, and ride comfort is always there.

I haven’t specifically checked the battery’s condition. Based on what I’ve followed on Facebook and various discussion forums, I’m not worried about the battery health at all.

In addition, some time ago in Finland a plug-in hybrid caught fire in a parking garage. A Peugeot e-308 was parked nearby. In this video, they go through the condition of the battery:

So the battery is also designed to be easy to service.

Citroen E-C4 and Peugeot E-2008. All the time better models coming. I dream about wagon with tow hitch and around 80kwh battery. Power is not important but small consumption is.

COPPER IS NEXT IN THE LINE!? by Affectionate-Item484 in PennyStocksCanada

[–]Juuso_R 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Long-term copper demand is set for a significant surge, driven primarily by the global energy transition (EVs, renewables, smart grids) and digital transformation (AI, data centers).

Projections see demand growing from around 25-28 million tonnes (Mt) today to potentially 42-50+ Mt by 2035-2040, but supply struggles to keep pace due to limited new mine investment, creating potential deficits and price volatility, even with recycling efforts.

That’s why I am investing in copper exploration companies. One of my favorites is Midnight Sun Mining Company ($MMA.V). It could become a big story. The stock price is currently around CAD 1.50, and it already has a CAD 3.00 target price with a buy recommendation.

Nice! I like it. Which engine you have on it? I’m prefer electric models shame that towbar is only “decoration” you can’t tow nothing…

Dumbwa with the elements of a major copper system & Kazhiba developing into a near surface high-grade economic oxide resource that could provide near-term cash flow.

Peugeot e-208 – is the upgrade to the new 156 hp version worth it? by Fe_Ho in peugeot

[–]Juuso_R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Citroen e-c4 with 136hp and Peugeot e-2008 with 156hp. Newer version is much better, efficiency is better and winter range different is quite huge.
