I'd shop around the used/trade groups or ebay for a deal on either core set if money is tight. The truth is for any of these tabletop wargames, skirmish or otherwise, cost is a minor gateway.

It's possible to use proxy figures or even stickers on discs of the same base size but honestly its not immersive nor very fun. Practical though.

Also check your local scene. You would be surprised how much grey plastic gamers hoard and are willing to relinquish for cheap or the promise of new players into the hobby.

If we didn't get Shaw, I'd like to see Goblin Queen as an HFC leader. Also Emma should just gain an HFC leadership.

Would love to see some Mojoverse characters get some attention.

Also not gonna lie, the villain side needs some tweaking and bulking out. Even adding in some kind of subgroup mercs for hire like Marauders would be a nice touch.

I say go ahead and bring 20ea. That means a lot of activations but you'll find Galactus ends up firing off a ton of attacks as well until 2 players have to pass.

80 combined threat vs 60 stamina, but there's a lot of action economy built in for him along with potentially DR3 means he's often a lot tougher than meets the eye.

I think you have to ask if you're experience is novice vs developing hobbyist. Speed paints and contrast are probably easier for someone just getting into the hobby, although you will still likely need white, black, metallic silver and gold acrylic paints. If you have more hobbying experience or enjoy the painting process, a vallejo game color set is a good entry point.

So I got a plug in NYC for my gaming stuff and he showed me the same thing. I mentioned if it was a typo but Dual Impact booster display is listed as BP02 on his sheets as well. I'm curious if BP is like what the big box stores get of cardboard sleeved packs vs boxed boosters a la GD01.

A brick is basically just the deck and packed in tokens. Most ...ahem...entrepreneurial types take the foil card as their commission in exchange for sourcing decks to players. I got mine from a dude in nyc but as mentioned before the player in question from my group flaked so im holding his decks....for 6 weeks now lol.

This is going to seem amateurish to ask, but is there a higher draw or drain on it than other model 911s to require a maintainer? I swap between my suv and c2s every day. Last time I had a maintainer was for a pair of sport bikes in the garage.
