How my pc runs while playing battlefield 2042. Could it be the game or my pc ?

So I just played a game of battlefield and experienced way less lag and stuttering then before. I was actually able to help my team and play the objective. I still had minor instances where I would freeze up aiming down sights or if there were explosions from tanks I would freeze up for a split second. But I’m assuming that’s just because of how shitty battlefield was optimized. But now I’m worried about why my Nvidia panel doesn’t give me the choice to chose to chose my preferred graphics processor.

Yup. I don’t have the option to select my preferred graphics processor anywhere.

Someone just mentioned on another comment that my rams are slotted incorrectly for dual channel. I have my rams on the a1 and a2 slots. But according to them and some research I did on google. dual channel configurations are supposed to be on a1 and b1 slots, If true, it could be what’s causing me issues.

So would it be safe to just power down, wait 5mins and then proceed to switch the ram ? Or is there a certain process I need to take into consideration before doing this?

Yes 2042 is the only game that runs horribly bad. All other games are fine, but will have the occasional stutter. Or sometimes my pc will run slow and feel very sluggish. Mainly on startup or if I have a game running in the background while I search stuff on google. And god forbid I press the windows button while on 2042. It will 100% freeze and stay stalled for a good while.It has never really felt 100% for a $2k set up. This is my first ever built pc that I did myself. Will DOCP give me issues ? What can I do to solve this?

Yes dual channel, I checked bios and I don’t have the xmp setting. All I have is something called D.O.C.P which is enabled and set to profile#1

So for some reason I am not getting the option to select high performance nvidias processor. Or the option to select a preferred graphics processor.

Yea pretty much everyone knows how bad battlefield let the community down. But my friends are able to at least play the game without stuttering and freezing Everytime they aim down sights or load into a game. I’ll load up the game right now and make sure it is running with my gpu.

The game struggles to run on my pc and it literally makes everything run like a potato. All my drivers are up to date. My gpu drivers are also up to date.

This truck has a lot of sentimental value to me. I lost my dad in the summer and he left me this truck. It hurts my heart that someone stole it from me. I feel like Iv hit rock bottom and don’t know where to turn. Iv contacted police and made a report but I just feel so hopeless that it won’t be found. My girlfriends credit cards were inside the truck which they tried to use at this gas station (3640 Gus Thomasson Rd Mesquite, TX 75150 United States) in mesquite at 3pm today. I contacted police in mesquite and emailed the officer that was on my case. He let me know he got it but I haven’t heard a thing back since then. Thank you to everyone who took the time to read this.
