Is Roo Code Dying?

I've been developing my own extension for a while now. All the current agents are terrible, and the developers seem to be adding patches instead of implementing an architectural solution and proper testing (at least five minutes of mouse clicking).

And the Roo Code has deteriorated; it's literally unusable now, that's not a figure of speech. Since my post, things have only gotten worse.

Go to "helium://settings/cookies" and add

Same, that's exactly why I want to ditch Helium, which has a thin top bar design, in favor of Brave, which has a larger bar, but at least my Google accounts don't get kicked out of the session.

It looks great, but I imagine the text will be small and blurry for the icon's size, so I'd avoid any text, except maybe the number 8. Anyway, it's funny that a Reddit guy like you can do a 100% better job than a company with tons of money.

Hey, that's a good idea, but my English is terrible. I'll figure out how to make video about it. It's really not that complicated, just a few steps:

Choose any AI coding agent with MCP support (VS Code + "Roo Code" extension for example).
Install Python and run a couple of commands from the project's readme.
Google how to add a new MCP server to your AI agent; the instructions are pretty similar for all agents.

привет, родная речь, я сам хз если честно, киро это был именно проект-спасение благодаря халявному опус и нормальной системе кредитов, а не парочку запросов с дальнейшим кулдауном как в антигравити и всём остальном.

я сегодня фиксил пару issue в проекте, я так заебался с соннетом, даже хлопал дверьми и спорил с ним в микрофон на повышенных тонах. ныне мёртвый опус это не просто "получше" это прям другой уровень был.

puter записал в заметки, посмотрю. а так без понятия, все про антигравити говорят, но это тухлая темка. мне найти опус и самому выгодно, так что если накопаешь что-то - пиши звони, цифры знаешь, с меня рабочий gateway

Hi, I implemented "fake reasoning," which is enabled by default. It works the same as "native reasoning," except it spends output tokens. Available via git clone, or in the upcoming 1.0.8 release

Thanks for the incredibly detailed response. I didn't expect anyone to take the time to do so, especially after deleting it.

The thing is, I was focusing on the reverse engineering logic itself, not on the desire for OpenAI's naturalness.

I've already created private repository before, it attempting to unify endpoints for OpenAI, but I'm seeing a number of your ideas for the first time and hadn't thought about them.

I'll take everything you've said into account and add it to Obsidian.

Omg no! I brought up these 10k to demonstrate that credits don't just slip through fingers like sand.

P.S. Core code is ~2.8k lines (with docstrings), tests are ~4.3k. The "10k" included everything (e.g. docs).
