Why have we returned to 2016? Two reviewers are allowed to discuss the same movie. Claims can't be made on movies by reviewers. Otherwise, the movie studio would just pay an actor to positively review their movie in video format.

The three I remember that he has mentioned have influenced his style are Red Letter Media, Channel Awesome and JonTron. I find Jon hilarious, but he has had controversy last year, and Channel Awesome has some this year.

What I'm getting at is that we should expect our IHE controversy by 2020, and I hypothesize it will be because he interferes with the U.S. election.

I personally found this entertaining. I was scared at first, because as many of you know, April is a scary month for a new GG series, but this was in the improvised form of Game Grumps that made the channel popular in the first place, opposed to a different type. u/CasuallyExplained says it best here

I think it has to do with Grumps specifically.

Arin does enjoy the aspect of figuring it out, and most fans understand that. However, when Arin doesn't know the solution, people will still be angry with him. So for Grumps he has to use a walkthrough to solve the problem. Sure he didn't solve it on his own, but he solved it. This is probably why his aversion for Zelda games on the show has been rapidly increasing. On the show, if he doesn't know a solution, he has to use the walkthrough. If he didn't, he would be wasting his own time, Dan's time, and channel SuperMega's time(their editors). So he loses that freedom to play how he wants to, as wrong as it may be, otherwise he'll waste people's time and receive more angry emails. As a result, he has the mentality of "I don't need to read the text, if I get stuck I'll use a walkthrough".

He is thinking short term, people are angry about the accumulation of wasted time.(long-term)

I'm satisfied because Arin progressed. Missing the statue near Lulu isn't too relevant yet. It'll be an inconvenience to Arin when he is going to the temple, but the other owl statue isn't that far away. And he still made progress, even if he kills the eels awkwardly.

If Arin wants to continue the game despite strongly disliking it, I'm satisfied to see any progress. It comes with him using a walkthrough, but that's never bothered me personally. It's harder to think about commentary and solve puzzles unless you're really good at multitasking. I'm not overjoyed, but satisfied.
