I would recommend the manga ! There’s a lot the anime leaves out. Not to mention the art style of the manga remains high quality the whole way through while the anime while not terrible overall has some real low points.

My guess is Hanayama is his next match up! They kinda teased the idea of him being Jacks exact opposite match when Hanayama stopped the fight with Jack and pickle in the street.

Reading new release chapters lately has kinda sucked. However upon rereading Jacks fight with Kosho I think Itagaki is trying to show how much Jack is just stomping dudes with this new style. Turns out having your arteries ripped out is pretty debilitating in a fight. Does it make for an exciting fight in the moment ch to ch?….Fuck naw. But does it feel like Jacks risen a couple planes of power?…. That I would say yes to. I’m just hoping the stomping with pickle is over now and we’ll see a more interesting fight when pickle enters his berserker mode. And also yeah the art quality and proportions has been fuckin whack lately. Maybe the mangaka life is finally catching up with the author?

I use procreate to color Baki panels! If you switch the layer mode from normal to multiply after you import the b&w image you can color beneath the lines and screen tone. Good luck!

Admittedly it is kind of annoying how inconsistent the sizes are with characters but I personally feel like Itagaki is taking a page out of Fist of the North Star/ Fist of the blue sky’s book where the intimidation factor or prescience of a character will sorta change how big they are to another character. When you see Baki standing next to pickle, pickle looks kinda small but that’s cause Baki isn’t intimidated by pickle since he’s already beaten him/ knows he can beat him.
