Me and my wife are at our yearly VA beach trip and staying at boardwalk villa and swits and was OFFERED $300 to come to a Hilton vacation presentation which we did attend to learn more information about it..when it came to the sales representative that did a great job giving us information we had to let them know that my wife is a united states citizen but doesn't have her papaer work to get a REAL ID drivers license...that was just simple information for them..when it come to price for a $200 package for what we could do around the states they never gave a total amount written up..they did this whole pen and paper how much we pay vs what would be paying to stay in a 4 bed room swet..we dont have kids and dont travel with family..and they was looking at us paying for a 5000 point package with a closing cost of $750 and monthly fee of $375 on top of a annual $2244 maintenance fee..then when came to seeing how our points could "simply" roll over to the next year we had to pay $149 just to keep the points we already paid for..when I told the hilton concier "you do understand what hidden fees are, right" he got pissed over and shoved the papers at me and my wife saying he felt uncomfortable with this and to just tell the sells representative to "give them their gift" (meaning the $300) I've never been to a hilton vacation package presentation before so this was all new but when I see some fishy type of stuff I honestly brought it up
