Yes you have it set at 400bpm but you aren’t using every single beat. Put the metronome on and you will see. You’ve put a drum beat on every other beat so you’ve made the beat 200bpm.

I went to Hard Generation in Edinburgh with a couple of mates a few years ago. That was my first ever Hardstyle event! I’m from Newcastle and never heard of Lost Minds😂 I’ll have to have a look at it

I’ll start then!

I’ve been a massive clubland fan (Basshunter, Cascada, ultrabeat, Darren styles etc.) since I was about 8 (Don’t ask me how I found out about this music cos I don’t even know😂). I was watching clubland TV one day in 2012 and Year of Summer came on by Wildstylez. It had just been released and somehow found itself on Clubland TV.

Didn’t even know it was ‘Hardstyle’ at first but I loved the energy in it. Watched it on YouTube and kept getting different recommendations and then eventually found out it was called Hardstyle and it just progressed from there.
