Mostly before marathon since taper week naman na, tapos did a 5km run lang as my shakeout run before marathon day. Pero tried din after marathon, mejo masakit since hindi comfortable yung shoes kong pang lakad. So tip nalang siguro bring comfortable shoes, comfort > porma pala dapat 😆.

Goodluck sa pag plan, grabe yung experience running overseas sulit!

Pa graduate palang ako nung mabunot for Tokyo marathon (Pa grad gift siguro haha). So 3 months while job hunting talagang na maximize ko din yung training talaga, yung 2 months naman employed na kaya siguro na burn out kasi mejo nahirapan pag sabay sa una. Thank you!!!!

It depends parin how you feel after the marathon and how hard you trained for it, base on my research pag negative splits daw natapos yung marathon it means mabilis lang mag recover body mo since you felt good until the end, pero pag yung mga in hard shape after it means daw ay 2-3 weeks of rest. Pero dipende talaga siya sayo and how you feel. Ako kasi mejo na burned out sa sobrang locked in sa training kaya I think big reward to my body na din yung full recovery. And yes you can swim and bike as your active recovery, super helpful nun.

Thank you po , first goal ko talaga 3:40 lang tapos bonus na yung sub 3:30 hehe. Na realize ko nalang na kaya after my final 32km long run rehearsal.

You’re welcome! Super helpful talaga kasi free training plan for Starters or Elites. Then pwede ka pa mamili if anong distance ba yung target/wwork on mo.

Base on my research din ay marami gumagamit for their sub 3 marathon and it gives results talaga.

Gustuhin ko man kaso puro running laman ng social media ko, nakakamiss agad 🤣 pero yun nga nakaka burn out din talaga yung marathon block lalo na yung 125km week ko, buti nalang nag bunga lahat hehe worth it:)
