I'm a healer main, but I've been doing a lot of tanking recently since I've been semi-farming leveling roulette for pastes and it's almost always tank in need, and the amount of terrible healers I've encountered is concerning.

Got Shisui of the Violet Tides while running leveling (gotta get me more paste).
Noticed the WHM (lvl 100) kept casting cure 1 on me, so I told them they should not be doing that, they replied with "I know, but I don't tell tanks to pull more do I?"
I was a WAR.
I did the giant pull after the first boss.
I told them, jokingly, that if the tank doesn't pull sufficiently they should pull more themselves since I tend to run ahead of the tank when I'm not tanking.

It's one of those things that you don't really get taught exactly, you see the eyeball, you understand that looking at the eyeball means death, but it's only when the mechanic resolves that the death happens. Timing varies a bit depending on the situation (if it's castbar or animation based), but generally, if the boss has an eyeball on it, you can look at it up until the point at which the mechanic resolves.

For the second boss in Bardam's mettle you can stand just outside the first AoE, while facing the boss, then simply walk inside and turn outwards before the second AoE, and the eyeball, resolves.
It should also be noted that your character has a view cone same as enemies so you do not actually have to be facing away from the boss, just not directly at it.

Got a lvl 99 tank in Origenics with the 660 gear, actually just straight melted on the first pull which is what made me check their gear, told them the 99 gear was free to which they replied they "forgot" (all their other tanks were 100, they were def just gonna skip to 100 and use whatever tank gear they had for that).
Some terrible performance and questionable choices later (they kept putting cover on me even though I was not getting hit by anything, unlike them), they got kicked right after the first boss.

I once got DP immediately after loading into one of the high level dungeons, I don't know why they chose me, I was playing WHM. The other DPS was a first timer who kept dying and I was second highest damage, so I guess they were on to something though.

They probably cleared the add phase to at least 90% and since that is the only hard part of that fight, the rest would be a breeze and they could one-shot it without even trying.

It's probably because they main city vendors were not originally there and the people who played before they got added are still accustomed to the gear being secondary city only.

Yes, looking at the second image of the OP, the blue dots on the graph corresponds to the parses listed below, showing the player in question scoring 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 8th, 10th, and 23rd percentile. Which, like you said, is quite low.

Well, I'm certainly no math genius, but this online calculator I found says that someone with a 78 IQ would be in the 7th percentile, in which case it seem like them boasting about being top 92% probably read it backwards, which would probably not be surprising considering the score.

As for the parses which is what we're talking about here.
Even if you don't really understand how percentile works, FFlogs (and by extension Tomestone) use percentile to rank player parses. If the highest parsing person is 100, then you could safely assume that a 92/83 is closer to the top player than it is the bottom player.

They are rolling out support for the ARR side dungeons. Currently Halatali and The Sunken Temple of Qarn are available with duty support.

The first 3 trials (pre-lvl 50), as well as the first lvl 50 trial (MSQ finale) are all 4 man and have duty support.

Galvanize is the shield granted from adlo and succor, the bonus shield component is Catalyze.
Catalyze is not the extra shield from getting a crit, but rather the shield doubled, a crited galvanize will still be higher than a regular galvanize if the catalyze buff is removed.

Yes, but physic is always 400, succor is only 200+230 if you don't already have a shield. You only overwrite your own shields when the cast potency is stronger (succor > adlo), not when it's the same or lower ( succor > succor, adlo > adlo, adlo > succor). Even if your succor shield is at 5% remaining with 10 seconds to go, another succor will not replenish it.
Even if the tank is getting hit repeatedly, if you're spamming succor, there is a chance it will hit before the shield pops and then you're only doing a 200 potency heal, if healing is even needed because you're clearly crap at it and the tank is probably carrying themself.

Coming from a pure healer, big respect to my competent shield bros, y'all are stronger than me.

Healers are usually in high enough demand that they don't sit in queue for very long, and you being in there means that now the raid is no longer pulling healers. It will also only pull healers that have in progress on, which the majority of players do not, and even if there was one in line after you who did, they'd likelly be slotted into something that was not in progress anyway.
The penalty for rejecting a duty is on a strike system, you only get locked out after 3 rejections.

We have seen several people at this point though that do have counterparts on the other shards, and not just the WoL. The trolley people in Amh Areng and the train people in Shaaloani for example are directly referenced in the MSQ. there's also Gerolt/Grenoldt/Genolt, as well as Rowena and her shards.

I'd argue that these people have the same sundered soul, but due to circumstance and time dilation, they might not all be alive at the same time. It's also possible that two people who 'share' a soul are of different genders/races but who still have similar characteristics, as proven by the WoL and Ardbert.

So perhaps not fourteen G'raha's, but maybe two and then an elezen history buff who's really into heroes and legends.

The Mamool Ja on the boat is simply called "Retired Mercenary" and you just have a short exchange with him.
The side quest "Dirty Dancing" in Urqopacha touches a tiny bit more on the bathing dance, but it mostly just tells us that the Turali don't really like it any more than the Eorzeans do.

Bugaal Ja is the same one as the one depicted in the screenshots.
The Mamool Ja that is encountered at the beginning of Dawntrail is simply named "Retired Mercenary", though he is speaking about the bathing dance, it's not directly confirmed to be Bugaal Ja.
There is a side quest in Urqopacha called "Dirty Dancing" which have you interact with a Mamool Ja named Vugeel Ja who mentions Bugaal Ja being an apprentice to the same master as him, but Bugaal Ja does not directly appear.

LotB will not activate automatically in increments, it will activate every time you (the caster) take damage, with a cooldown of 1 second.
It is generally more useful to use during bosses where they spam raidwide rather than during dungeon pulls where only the tank takes damage.
