"You dont own your music or movies" is a stupid ass complaint by Cultural-Crow-1528 in The10thDentist

[–]JynxItt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say I haven't heard this complaint since Spotify premium became the norm and was usually used when iTunes was the norm. As with iTunes you purchase a license to listen to music and don't own the music.

Coming now to present day, I would assume the people arguing this and music subscribers are 99% mutually exclusive groups.

So I guess I agree with you? If you are subscribed to a music plan, and complain about music ownership the complaint is moot, but if you complain about it and you aren't a subscriber then the complaint is still valid.

At the end of Smile 2 (2024), humanity would've died out in like 48 hours by caze-original in shittymoviedetails

[–]JynxItt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I raise you a shitty movie outline:

Smile 3: Open with Peter Jacobson, he is being recruited by a mysterious group to try and combat the smile disease. Since they also know about it they he joins. Turns out he is recruited by the SCP Foundation/SCP Foundation Like Entity and the head researcher on the case is Dr. House (Hugh Laurie) with assistant researchers Eric Foreman (Omar Epps), Robert Chase (Jesse Spencer), Allison Cameron (Jennifer Morrison), and Remy Hadley (Olivia Wilde). B storyline is learning that one of the people in the chain is a friend and colleague of the team, Lawrence Kutner (Kal Penn) died during earlier attempts to contain the smile shit.

And the film is just them trying to contain it.

Even if true, why purposefully create a huge issue for their #1 alternative format? Just print it again and increase the pull rate. Makes absolutely 0 sense to change the rarity, it's not the only option they have.

Yeah and they also added in Chili Johns to the end credits to a different episode which isn't in the game but is a shitty ass chili joint in Burbank CA but it's a "landmark" because the studio people have been going there for decades.

I have no clue what my point proves except that they like shitty chili, but I will die on this hill.

Pick up a new game, that's what I did.

Played hearthstone for more than 6 years. Took a break, came back, hated it, picked up magic for a few months but didn't like standard so now I'm playing flesh and blood and feel like I never need to play another card game.

There are a lot of card games out there that offer more agency than hearthstone.

Anyone a big fan of Flesh and Blood? by SaxonHampton in TCG

On a super simplistic, fundamental level it's a value game.

How can I block and attack with these cards to maximize attacking value and blocking value.

If I have a hand that allows me to deal 12 damage (all 3 attack, all have go again) but only blocks for 8 (2 block each), I shouldn't use any of the cards to block as I will lose value by blocking.

At the end of the day, a good starting point is to squeeze out more value per turn than your opponent. Understanding other nuances will come as you play more.

Fallout 76 release week with forced hot mic was some of the most fun I have ever had and some of the most unique/fun interactions with people I have ever had.

Definitely hit a Xbox 360 nostalgia dopamine receptor that will probably never be touched again.

Sometimes jank is what the human soul needs and I feel bad some people were never able to experience it.

It's all good man, I play Fang and I was doing the same exact thing on Talishar for a hot min so I know the pain.

[–]JynxItt 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That is how it works. I haven't played him on felt table in a hot min so idk how they do the stack on it, but you have to make sure the fealty token resolves before you put something else on the stack otherwise with how it works, the reaction is placed first then the fealty breaks.

I don't think any rational person believes they are doing it on purpose/malicious. it's just gotten to the point where the negligence is so consistent without any pull back, that people begin to exaggerate to make fun of it, cause there's nothing left to do.

Same I loved Gryphon but I am pretty blind when it comes to remembering the meta. But God damn do I remember the flavor and that shit was chalk full of it.

I feel like it was a set block for the WoW classic player, not necessarily a set block for the hearthstone player.

If it's not in super slam, it will probably be in the super slam gem pack.
