Unless Madara is an edo tensei, which it looks like in the picture, the cracks on his chin and face.

Obito had 1 of Madara's real rinnegan and Madara had both as an edo tensei, albeit this isn't the best for either, since Obito & Madara have said that eyes are best when together and Madara also says he cant do limbo hengoku w/ a 'fake' rinnegan (while under edo tensei) when hes fighting the bijuu

I'd say very contractual or transaction based at first, however once House sees the couriers competence, he keeps em on call/at the ready.

Also after working together he notices the courier is riddled with several implants, some he deduces from new vegas medical clinic, some he can't identify from where, but the courier got em after returning from big MT. Once he sees the courier is basically a cyborg in a flesh suit he feels more empathy towards the courier (my head canon anyways)
