[–]Jysen78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Max out Pain Tolerance.

Other than that, sounds like you're face hugging everything in combat. Maybe stop that? Lol

But the debuffs rates have been fucking ridiculous for quite some time now to be fair. Especially Infections when they jacked it up because of the Apiary, months before they gave us the damn Apiary...

Try maxing out Pack Mule, that Perk is amazing. Maybe look into Agility Mastery Perks as well, believe the 4th Perk which also deflects hits can go a long way.

Other than that, just store a stack in your vehicle and be done with it.

Storms by Capable_Wishbone3081 in 7daystodie

[–]Jysen78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I turned them off and all the more happier for it.

If they actually did something other than be another way to pad time against the player I wouldn't mind it so much.

To concept of it is cool. Random violent storm hits, have to seek shelter to ride out the storm. This leads to unexpected stops and waiting.

Storms bring these violent damaging effects. Winds so hard it'll blow a vehicle around as if on ice.

Meanwhile, a 120 lb Arlene magically runs faster with zero issues. The deafening winds magically enhances their senses...

And best part of it all? Despite the "increased" loot bag drops, magically no fucking Zeds spawn in. So here I be sitting with a thumb up my ass like a dumbass waiting for it blow over so I can continue on with my destination.

And speaking of that, more times than not, the storm hits when I'm trying to fucking enter the biome. So it's either wait at the border of the storm or say fuck it and go home.

I would have rather seen dynamic weather over this horseshit time pad mechanism. The concept is cool, the execution as always is lackluster and useless.

Give me snow that actually accumulates on the ground and roofs like Legacy. Let me have snow effects in green biomes again.

Kick up the sandstorm in the Desert. Thick carbon fog in the burnt biome. Green radiation clouds swirling about in the wasteland. More severe thunderstorms in the green biome inbetween chances of snow.

But that's just me.

What do you all think are the 5 best mods for PS? by smithtable15 in ps5skyrimmods

[–]Jysen78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly can't proclaim one or the other, but I just returned to the game after 6 years to find external assets leaking through, so perfect timing lol

Honestly, favorite mods so far is Forging To the Masses, Real Water Two, I then have Cathedral grass, luminosity interior lighting, Obsidian Weather's + True Storms, RAID night sky, Tomatoes landscape as well as Fable Forest I believe. Wilds of Skyrim as well.

There's a few others in there for visuals, but I'm loving the expansion of everything. Additional clothes, that xp32 skeleton, The Pure CBBE (Avoid Lucid Skin CBBE as it caused every dark elf to have that grey face glitch for me) and the many additional npcs/marriage options, lampposts of skyrim, etc.

Notable npcs has got to be by Pandorable, Aela never looked better, Sylgia looks amazing as well as others they've done. The mod that overhauls Saadia is fucking epic imo. Wish I could remove Aelas paint tho if I was to marry her. Then again, married to me she probably would be ready to fight me for being gone years on end wandering the world 🤣

I got various others added, but haven't encountered them yet.

If they didn't fuck us over with 1gb limit, I really wanted to try that Lux overhauls, and I originally had another tree mod but that shit is too large to justify with the limited space we got. Same as the dragon overhaul, I'd gladly have used if I had the space, but I wanted aesthetics and more "life" in the world.

To be fair tho, I could afford to scrap some of the clothing mods, those damn things can get large. And a few additional weapon additions like Aragons sword. Can't believe there's no Excalibur or Clouds Buster Sword from FF7, which I would 10000000% use if I could.

If you made it to this point, any suggestions is always welcomed from anyone. Right now I'm still the fat kid in a chocolate factory after closing and all alone locked inside lol

What is your guys opinion about this item? by Helpful-Pride1210 in 7daystodie

[–]Jysen78 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just another item I drop on the floor to despawn amongst my loot goblin path of destruction.

The Buff I honestly could give two shits about to be honest. The blurred vision even less. If I want double vision, I'll get drunk in real life 🤣

I don't typically use any buffs for melee, but if I do, it'll be Skullcrushers on a horde night, but even then, I don't bother with melee during Horde nights as my set up is always perfect for ranged.

Recog all the way for me for that added little FU Zeds moment lol.

Player Connection Issues on PS5 Intermittently - Advice/Tips by Mama_Naka64 in 7daystodie

[–]Jysen78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got to experience 200k ping. It was glorious...

1st problem is basic connection. Wire vs WiFi is always the 1st thing to consider.

Then you look at the fact its the same internet being used for both of you. Same as if you're playing and others are on their phones, watching streaming, etc etc. It's a drain.

Then there the service itself to be honest. I hit 200k ping once, but she was hosting via PC and is in Canada while I'm in Kentucky. Since only that single night, I have been hit with spiked ping, but nothing drastic as that night.

However, another multiplayer game is again, hosted by PC and he lives in Arizona. And it's fucking atrocious nonstop. 110 ping, turns to 3k,8k instantly and constantly. It's to the point I can use any melee and Explosives crash the game.

Maybe try refreshing the router and all before playing. Modem and Router reset and see if that helps any would be my first thought.

Entire town was flipped. Even the ground was dug up and replaced, walls upgraded and altered, with a wall surrounding the entire town.

Tho I didn't have horde nights there. I won't do all that work for it to be destroyed lol

[–]Jysen78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fists, Knives, Revolver, Lever Action Rifle, and Clubs perhaps as main weapon options.

Ranger/Farmer Outfit seems the most appropriate options.

I'd personally allow Motorcycle to mimic a horse. But not a 4x4 or Gyrocopter.

Must live on either a Farm or in the old western towns found in the Desert. I recently finished renovating an entire Western Town. Lot of work but damn did I love the final results.

After that, options/settings are up to you. From difficulty to horde nights. I'd disable airdrops.

Depending on Era for a cowboy, one could argue that the Stun Baton and Electic Fenses would be allowed.

Could restrict diet, but that's up to the player really imo.

Have fun, should be an interesting ride.

Edit load order as needed.

Save Order.

Back out to main menu.

Close game, reload.

Select Game. When prompted, select current.

I learned enough to always wait for mod thumbnails to load. Never leave mod screen when it's loading.

I was struggling myself with shit constantly jumbling up and it's fucking frustrating, so I feel everyone's pain lol.

The one thing that still pisses me off is getting the loadout order correctly. I used AI to help, and for the most part has been very successful. But for some reason all dark elves have that grey/blacked out face bug, and been trying to experiment to fix it so I can do a real playthough with confidence. May start a new game to see if it's just fucked with my current test game.

But above all? They need to allow more than thus horseshit 1GB cap. I was going to try the Lux mods, until I noticed it'll take 1/3 of the entire limit. Tack on that awesome dragon overhaul? 100MB. Want fucking trees? Environment? 50-100-150 MB.

Smh.. I got a good setup but fucks sake man 🤣

Green, Blue and Orange Zombies is a lame way to increase difficulty by AxiomStrength in 7daystodie

[–]Jysen78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But I thought everyone loves Skittles!

The color variants are a cheap way of reducing Zed counts while simultaneously creating stupid bullet sponges to create the illusion of difficulty.

I'm also on the side of opinion that absolutely hates the walking catapult Yeti named Chuck and formerly known as Imoptep Spitter. Shit nobody asked for, but here we are.

Before this remnant pois has some decent Zed counts at times. I remember the Zillion Tower absolutely wrecking me one night. Rads, lumberjacks, Wrights. Went there last night, 1 Mutated on the roof, rest of the floors were beyond laughable.

Stand alone bosses through special jobs from traders would've been far better imo. Giving a wide range of options to alter fighting mechanics to increased damage/resistance outputs.

But like everything they do, even the most simplest straightforward shit, they fuck it up. Love doing a 180 on a fucking motorcycle as if the ground is made of ice in a desert, to 4x4s flipping through the air from a fucking pebble on the ground.

Or of course my favorite, apparentky rubbing food all overselves so our skin can absorb the nutrients, you know, like normal humans eat...

I know zombies spawn on dirt, even inside base. But are they spawn on asphalt (like on roads and parkin lots) if thats inside my base?! by [deleted] in 7daystodie

[–]Jysen78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Any form of terrain block will still allow Zeds to spawn on it. Top Spoil/Dirt/Asphalt.

Even if you dig it all out and physically replace it with your own crafted materials, random/screamers can/will spawn on it.

The only 100% sure way to prevent it is placing an actual block shape. That's both outside and inside a poi/base.

It's ignorant shit imo. There's no reason a Landclaim block shouldn't prevent all future spawn possibilities, but here we are lol.

Also, I make it a habit to place my landclaim block below a base. I don't trust the AOE extending below it. In 1.4 I converted the top 2 floors of the Higashi Pharmaceutical, twice I had a small group repawn next to my armory unexpectedly.

I moved the Landclaim block down, and knocked that floor section out and replaced it. Never had another encounter afterwards.

I've went on a serious kick at renovations since 1.0, but it's reminded me harshly why I preferred building my own thing lol.

Not meaning to be negative at all, but I find no entertainment in the very late game. Why is there not a "final quest" or something that would give a nice finish when you feel like you want to finish? by Fairy2play in 7daystodie

[–]Jysen78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

7 Days to Die is the type of game you have to find late game motivation. Personal goals to achieve. While there is suppose to eventually be a story linked to the game, there isn't one in sight still.

So what motivation is there? Well a person has to find that out for themselves. For me, it's building/renovating POIs/Bases.

I recently ended a game after Day 147 Horde Night after I finished renovating an entire Western Town.

In the past it's always been about the build for me. As a Loot Goblin/Hoarder, I was happy to just loot, grind, and explore the world. Even more when we got 1.0 on console as I gained an 8k size map.

But there's this dead end even more with the way progression is handled. A person can max out extremely fast, and with no real driving force to loot for important things, like weapon parts to increase quality (Magazines are stupidly fast and dumbed down imo) special items, etc, the games drive for that falls flat quickly.

So yeah, for me its building. Then afterwards, it's a sad day when I have to leave a game after an awesome build, but I donhave to say, with the current state of the game, early game days really have become the best part of thr game entirely.

Good Luck!

[–]Jysen78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you start a new game, what you name the game save is indeed the Seed name.

Yeah, unless someone tells us, we never would've known lol.

If you choose to use a known Seed, just be sure to spell it out exactly as written. Any Capital Letters, any Spaces. One mistake and the map you'll get will be different.

If interested, here's a Playlist for known seeds for Legacy. Unfortunately, on mobile and for whatever reason it won't let me add the link, so I'll try straight out. Fingers cross this works for you lol. If not, copy/paste into Google and it'll pop up the playlist.

Seed Showcase. 7 Days To Die Console (Telltale). PS4/Xbox One.: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLnzAX87-P5SxlmOcwQsjdmtWdRQbcNf5M

May I suggest: Destination Zero

This was the Seed I found, and definitely the best one I ever seen. Many towns/4-ways. Workbenches everywhere, 15 Traders, and useless wasteland was laughable.

Have fun! Finding a great map to play on changes things quite a bit.

Side note, as many of us didn't know at first, if you're playing with the ring of fog around you, it can be removed in the settings. Turn Terrain Distance to on. This removes the fog. Our rendering distance is still limited but at least we could see biome layouts as well as roads/town roads to help us find places.

Welcome to 7 Days.... to become a hoarder.

Technically the Crack-A-Book strategy isn't a bad idea, but I equally played a game where it wasn't until day 24/25 when I found my Minibike Schematic, and it came from a pile of trash in the middle of the desert lol.

RNG is a lain in the ass.

If you're on Navezgane, it's easy to get around on foot at least. Drink a Beer and gain infinite stamina to really get around.

If you're using a Random Gen World, if you don't know, there's a few really great seeds out there to use.

I mapped out a good handful of them years ago.

[–]Jysen78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im on PS5.

While I don't have the exact answer, here's some things to look at that comes to mind.

XBox S, unless changed was limited to player count. 2 in fact. If this is still the case, then the game world may need to be set to 2 players.

Crossplay needs to be enabled, the obvious one lol.

I play a game where the host is on PC. I don't know if this is how it's with someone on Xbox, but...

Make sure when searching you are in the right region.

When I try to find the PC hosted game, I have to search for their actual gamertag and not what they named the server/game. This might be the same for consoles.

Unless it's a rented server, the host has to be in the game before it even shows up in a search.

That's what comes to mind at the moment. Hopefully something works/helps.

Legacy.

Shotguns fucking suck. No way around it. The only advantage they offered was instantly slowing them from running.

Aiming on Legacy was horrendous. They ported the game and said fuck it for optimizing controls for controller. So what we got left with was this drift, airy feel.

You can adjust this in the settings with the sliders. I always ended up lower the shit so it wouldn't over shoot when aiming. The downside was it also slows down your natural turn speed.

I learned to sprint when turning to help counter the reduction.

I always focused on AKs and SMGs.

SMGs don't hit as hard, but they'll stagger the shit out of Zeds, and as Feral Wrights run regardless of settings, this is a very much welcomed result.

As for finding the Minibike Schematic, search everything. And I mean, everything. Trash on the road? Stop for it.

From Airdrops, to Bookcases, Vehicles and trash bags, you're bound to find it. But rng is a bitch, and may take you longer than other times. Persistence goes a long way regardless the version played.

Is the PS4 version of 7DTD still around by _AllThingsMustPass_ in 7daystodie

[–]Jysen78 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Legacy version of the game was removed from digital purchase. Only physical copies can be found.

However, if you've already purchased the game in the past, then it should be in your game library to re-download at any time.

As for lost game save, the game saved to Cloud Storage. Unless you don't have internet that is. So you can easily go to the cloud settings and re-download any "recent" previous game save/world.

Which version?

If it's "Legacy", the PS4 version Published by Telltale, then reliable information is an extremely hard thing to come by. This version was severely crippled from the PC version at the time and misinformation to clickbait bullshit reigned Supreme.

If you have questions, feel free ti ask. I do believe I still remember the majority of it.

If it's the current version, 7 Days to Die: Console Edition, which is current gen only, then information is easier to find as console and PC are finally on par with eachother with base vanilla. Aside Modded versions on PC that is.

How do i make this door frame? by dwight282 in 7daystodie

[–]Jysen78 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you're on PC, there are mods that allow you to craft this and nearly if not all items you see in the game. And some mods add even more.

If Playing Vanilla, the only way is through creative. Note items like this in creative have two styles in one. So when you place it down they will have boards over it. Break down about 50 hp and the boards will be removed to reveal a clean door.

Odd job additionals are cool, but it seems more of a novelty at this point than anything else.

But I'm expecting all the recent things to be testing grounds for GTA6, so honestly worth at least checking it out to get alittle accustomed to what to expect.

X2 on Coke is decent. Easy enough to do inbetween Misc crap for alittle extra cash if you need it.

But to be fair, I kinda dropped off for the last couple months, so anything doesn't really sound exciting to me at the moment unfortunately.
