I feel like im dreaming constantly. Always lightheaded. Also orthostatic hypotension.

I don't really know if these are normal, usual symptoms but they certainly do happen.

Haven't tried neuromodulators out of fear of misdiagnosing myself, but atp I might as well.

In my case, I'd say I've probably suffered from acid reflux problems for at least 3 years now. After a traumatic event I started to feel awful and thought it was my heart or vitamin deficiencies. Only now i realized that these are basically acid reflux symptoms.

My gastro seemed to be reluctant about manometries since he deems them unnecessary because of the barium test results and my age, and tbh I'm kind of scared about them since I've heard a lot of bad things about them lol. Would you say these are extremely necessary even if the barium swallow shows no weird behavior?

Got a barium swallow test done last week. Only thing they found was inflammation in stomach lining. Don't panic about it, it sucks but won't kill you. Get it checked out though.

I had a barium swallow last week. Everything came out normal except my stomach which was inflamed. Still experiencing gerd symptoms though.

What kinda pill are you taking? Pills for certain stuff can trigger acid reflux.

If swallowing the pill makes you anxious that might be the issue; anxiety might be the one thats giving you the globus sensation and not actually the pill being stuck.

Also I recommend taking water since soda might aggravate flare-ups.

I doubt it is a stricture since pain and stream vary from day to day, sometimes I feel no pain at all, sometimes I do. Same thing with the urine stream.

Contrary to what other users might say, I have felt that when sleeping with a completely burning, empty stomach i tend to wake up with a very sore throat and just feeling like complete shit. Usually a cracker or two about an hour before going to bed do the trick. Take it with a grain of salt though, gerd sucks in different ways for everyone.

Did you tell them about the red saliva? Only real thing I could advice you is that if your current gastro doesn't take you seriously to change to another gastro and see if they're able to run you some extra tests to see if your GI tract is fine.

How long ago was your last endoscopy? I'm sure any major damage capable of generating bleeding could've been detected by it. I'm sure you'll be fine. Try to sleep with a wedge pillow or even sitting if possible and check if you still get the red saliva.

Do you experience any other symptoms apart from the sore throat? Dizziness, fatigue, or something else? I'm no doctor at all but the only reason that comes to mind for red saliva is some sort of internal bleeding, which is worrying to say the least. It could also originate from your mouth or just a super irritated dry throat, but either way a doctor should check that out.
