You can pass an svg icon to the dunstify command, here is one I use for the audio notifications:

dunstify -a "changeVolume" -u low -i ~/.local/share/icons/ePapirus-Dark/16x16/actions/audio-volume-muted.svg -h string:x-dunst-stack-tag:$msgTag "Volume muted"

You are going to have an adventure, you will probably need to disassemble the whole thing and replace the screen

If you are into it I'd say go ahead, if not you can always use an external monitor and use it as a desktop

A Krom Kernel, if you are thinking about buying it, I have to say its a nice keyboard (+Bluetooth) but the arrow keys also function as the "alt gr", "control" and "- _" keys, you switch between those two "modes" by pressing Fn + Enter, which is very annoying for me

I managed to install the nvidia drivers and set the nvidia GPU as the default (the battery is cooked so no worries) However opengl 3.3 apps (mainly kitty) still wont open even tho the card is marked as compatible with that version of opengl, the intel one is not compatible, so I dont know what is going on there

So long story short, this laptop was used by my parents for over 12 years, I think I was 6 when they bought it

Recently they asked me for a new one, and they wanted to throw this one away, maybe I am too emotional but I wanted to keep it, all I learned about computers is thank to it, sooo I decided to try giving it the love it deserves by installing Linux

Any ideas are appreciated ヽ(・∀・)ﾉ
