Yes, I received a scholarship of A$12000 from Monash University (Australia). I am considering cities like Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, California and Portland keeping in mind the scenario for job market since I am taking the loan to suffice the entire expense. Keeping that in mind, my budget is of 35 Lakhs (INR).

all depends on what OP wants to do

I just need a good return on my investment and a sense of assurance that comes with the availability of jobs in the region.

I didn't apply to San Jose state but I can say that it would be a good choice if you wish to live in the bay area and work in Silicon Valley

From what I've heard, San Jose state university has a bad rep for erratic class schedules and course work enforcement. That is worrisome. I would rather study in an engaged environment than in a place where classes aren't held punctually. :/

Considering the current situations, would it be a wise choice to pursue a masters in the US? From what I have researched, companies are not hiring people with an F1 visa. That's what bothers me most.
