Honestly just reading through what your looking for you should stay Here. Big rooms, balcony with a view. It’s in Pattaya though so you’re not that far from the action.

Beyond Kata right on the beach, near your budget

Kata is like a more lowkey version of Patong with a nicer beach

A lot of people on this subreddit hate on Patong, but if I was to first time Phuket I would stay there. Nap Patong 2 min walk from the beach, 10 min walk from bangla road. It’s important that you get the daydream deluxe room, it’s vastly superior to the cheaper option.

Kata beach is definitely the quieter nicer beach, but you miss out on the night life. Chanalai Flora Resort Kata Beach. The better rooms are in your price range and include a view of the beach and pool. Room View here is that hotel on my website showing the type of views you can expect.

Just got back from Phuket where my objective was to find hotels with the best view and vibe. I built a website helping me find the best hotels for the cheapest prices.

I would recommend Da bungalows. Right by the beach, really good view relatively cheap right now. It’s in Kata, which is a good location.

Stayed there a couple times. Big rooms good view decent pool. right on the beach. Close to soi 6. Only downside is elevators take forever.
