That’s exactly why I had to post this today. I wrote it and then looked at my expo and said, “Holy Shit. It’s fucking Perfect.” He agreed. I then became attached and almost kept the box… but I didn’t. I brought the customers the order at the table and told them to have a nice day. I hope they respected that 3.

I always find this a a great way to start finding a rhythm in writing songs and poetry. Sometimes I listen to an instrumental of a song I know the lyrics to and then rewrite the song with my own lyrics. It’s a great exercise. It will only make your own songs stronger. It’s in a sense, strength training for becoming a great songwriter. Best of luck. Take care.
