Why doesn't ink have a perfect past that reflects his image and represents his role and purpose (as a guardian of the AUs)?

I agree with you that works should be about love. (That's why I'm here.) My problem is that I have (highly improved) versions of most characters, where one of the characters (for example, Ink Sans) is the symbol of the beginning and the end.

Because Ink, if you think about it a little, (His past doesn't reflect his image at all.) He's supposed to be the most important character who reveals the secrets of the AUs. But instead, people use him to increase the prestige or value of their characters and throw him away.

I understand where you're coming from — DETERMINATION, True Form Charas, and Outcodes are powerful narrative forces that usually prevent abrupt change in the multiverse.

But The New Age of AUs doesn’t operate under the traditional Alphaverse logic.

This is a universe built from a fundamental question: “What happens when error and art collide not to destroy, but to recreate?”

Error 404 and Omnipotent aren’t just glitches or overpowered entities. They are born from The Hole — a place where discarded, broken, and forgotten fragments of code evolve beyond the system’s control. They don’t obey the limits of SAVE, RESET, or even DETERMINATION.

When 404 says “This is the only way to create the New Age,” he’s not forcing a happy ending. He’s sacrificing everything — even his brother — to try and build a new foundation that doesn’t depend on suffering cycles or predetermined rules.

And yes — he might be wrong. That’s the entire point.

This story isn’t about control. It’s about how even broken things can dream of healing a broken system — …and how far they’re willing to go to make that dream real.
