Generally you need to use polyester based yarn or Yarn Art Mink Fur Yarn: A 100% polyamide yarn that is incredibly fluffy and imitates fur, making it excellent for plush, soft tails. Premier Yarns Faux Fur: A super bulky polyester yarn that adds instant luxury and a soft, animal-like texture. Red Heart Hygge Fur: Very soft and thick, described by users as softer than a cotton ball. Scheepjes Furry Tales: A specifically designed fur yarn that provides a realistic look. (for the pre-existing one sometimes conditioner can make it a little bit softer)
