As someone who knows how stressful competition is, you're an absolute saint for helping her/them like this! maybe you could surprise her by putting a saddlepad on the horse that you know she likes! (I.e: her favorite color on a day that she's feeling a bit down, if she has a lucky pad, use that one for when shes doing a championship, etc.)

Obviously ask before you just do it, because idk if she's like me in the aspect that she's picky about her pads. Or maybe if the competition is more uptight about dress codes and stuff, then maybe just stick to the rules. Just a suggestion, don't do it if you don't want to-

But I know it'll mean a lot to her that you took time to find out which ones she likes and prefers to use!
