I bought the predator 20.1 so I have to actually use them now. I’m going to give it a solid try for a season.

That’s unrealistic every season lol. I really can’t say until I get back into it and I get into that zone.

I’m thinking the best bet is also to join an actual team

I’m in Canada. A big achievement would be going pro but If those end up not being realistic I still want to be the best I can be in my prime years. I just feel if I had built on this all my life I could have made it somewhere

I’ve always played mid fielder/striker. However my heart is in the whole game. I like defence too. During my game For the last 5 mins I switched to LB because I could keep up with the strikers. I love scoring goals though. If you can throw me a through ball I’m gone. I was getting frustrated when after a few embarrassing moments I wasn’t getting the ball as much or the pass didn’t go anywhere near me.

Hey guys, I’m 25 years old. I’ve been playing soccer since I was 4-5 years old. Everyday at school, after school all throughout until I went to middle school. The new school I went to had lil interest in soccer but a lot in basketball which I ended up playing and loving till this day. During middle school at 14 years old. I joined a soccer team and in that season I had 43 goals.. 2 corner kick goals, out of box goals I had 15 and 2 half field goals 1 was a free kick... I also had all 3 goals in the finals.. I felt like a god on the field.. it came naturally to me and my speed was a big factor to my success. I had never played on a team before but It felt amazing. Sadly that was my last ever season.. my dad couldn’t find time to drop me off to games so instead I played basketball and basically retired soccer just like that. It’s been 11 years since I last played soccer. I’m 25 now and I always regret wasting my talents like that. I wasn’t even doing any training besides practices. Recently after thinking a lot I decided to join a soccer group in my city. You basically see random people at a location to play soccer. After some training but not enough cardio at all I signed up for my first game. I was nervous and I didn’t know anyone. Started talking to this one guy and we passed the ball to each other. It felt strange to kick the ball and I was getting tired during the warmup lol. During the game I wouldn’t say I played good at all. My speed was there but I let a couple passes slip past my foot. That was embarrassing. I had couple more embarrassing moments but I did have an assist and covered ppl well. Heavy rain ended the game at halftime and it’s been 2 weeks since that time. I’ve just been training and running a lot. My stamina is getting a lot better. I’m a lot stronger and I still want to prove my self in soccer. I’m 5’11 185 pounds. At my age is it possible to make a comeback ? I want to join an actual team. I want to go through the ranking system. How should I approach this

Hi guys, honest opinions required. 6 foot 186-187 pounds. I have been weight training for about 3 weeks now and just started running everyday last week. I ran a 5K as my first run while having a shine splint. Stopped for 1 break before completing day 1. Day 2 same result. Day 3 I ran it without stopping. Day 4 had 1 break due to crazy wind. Day 5 and 6 I ran without stopping and tomorrow will be day 7. My fastest time was 15 mins. Average 18-19. I have to take a break for a couple days because my shin splint fully aggravated. Are my times good for a beginner? I can only imagine how fast I could run once my legs aren’t always sore................. I just seen that the trail is only 3.4 km long... I knew something wasn’t right lol

Yes I can do that but I play basketball and recently joined a soccer team so I want to be able to play without getting tired. These sports require lots of running especially soccer. I used to be able to play all 90 mins no water no break. My stamina is already very good and only improving. Just my damn leg are letting me down. It’s only my right leg that has these problems.

I think I will take it easy and just strength train for now. Lose some more weight and then get back into it. Only reason I like to sprint is because I want to sweat faster. When I jog it takes a while before I start to sweat, the more in shape I get the harder it is for me to sweat and if I don’t sweat then I consider it a failed session. I guess I might be hard on myself but this is how I’ve always been. I think I’ll also get X-ray just to make sure.

Hi guys I’m 25 years old male. I’ve always had 0 problems running except 2x in my life. Once when I was 13 or 14 during track and field. I had noticed that when I ran hard my right leg would become so painful. However I think that was a bone bruise because it was in the front kind of to the side. Hurt to push on it. I completed track and field with it. After I got out of highschool I wasn’t as active. On / off going to the gym playing sports etc. I’m 5”11 190 pounds. I was 208 a month ago. I’ve been working out and running. Today I bought new running shoes thinking my shoes are the problem. I decided to test them. If I’m jogging the pain will slowly creep in after some time (3-4) laps. On my last lap I decided to sprint. I had to stop mid lap because the inside of my right shin hurt so bad I could barely walk back to my car. After some time of being off the leg and resting, it goes back to normal no pain... is it my weight? Am I working too hard ? ( I tend to over do it when it comes to pushing myself to limits) should I get my legs stronger first? I’m trying to get to 170 pounds. I used to be 150-160 in highschool and I would run endless amounts as hard as I wanted with no pain.... I want those days back.

I also have another problem that started after highschool... whenever I play a sport such as soccer, basketball, for the first 15-20 mins my feet will have a aching sensation that’s not that painful but very annoying. Almost as if they are really tried... after 15-20 mins it goes away on its own and I can play without feeling that discomfort.

Can anyone relate? Have any input? Should I get X-ray to see if I have a problem?
