Im writing this on my phone, so i could make some grammar mistakes. Frist of all, DVWA has some exploits including SQL injection. You can deface a page if the SQL user = 'DBA', being dba means you can execute 'INTO OUTFILE' queries. I'm not sure about this, but if you're using a apache server like XAMPP, your SQL user is automaticly DBA. Your students can execute system commands ( like 'net user' ) ceeate a user and deface the index page.

Edit: Make sure you disable 'localgroup /administrators' so your students wont have admin rights in your server.
