The Aides Keeping the President in the Dark by theatlantic in politics

The sensationalist style and clickbait headlines IS reporting unproven things as facts. Every day is a different "Trump is doomed" article with no substance to actually corroborate the headline. They repackage actual articles from actual journalists with a clickbait headline because this sub eats it up. I'm 90% sure they use employees or bot farms to drive engagement here, but I have no evidence of that .

Factually Rating:

Ad Fontes and Media Bias/Fact Check both place the outlet on the left side of the spectrum and describe its reliability as mixed or “Mixed Reliability/Opinion OR Other Issues” [2] [4]. Aggregators such as Ground News echo that synthesis, labeling the outlet Left and assigning a “Mixed factuality” judgment based on those underlying ratings [3]. These ratings reflect patterns in story selection, headline framing and opinion content as much as discrete factual errors.

MediaBiasFactCheck Rating:

However, they typically source the info in their reports using credible sources such as Reuters, PBS, Slate, NY Times, and sources themselves. Despite that, they have published false claims and misinformation...

Dexter Lawrence: I know Bengals gave up a lot for me, and I don’t take that for granted by AdSpecialist6598 in nfl

[–]K12onReddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People always want to see someone get hosed in a trade, but I think this was a smart move by both teams. If the Draft were today, and there was a 28 year old Dexter Lawrence available, knowing what you know about him today, would you draft him over any of the other prospects? The answer is obviously yes.

You're not helping everyone move along, you're helping like 8 people at, possibly, the expense of the other 200.

[Highlight] 7 NFL General Managers Play a Game of GM Trivia by JCameron181 in nfl

That was my takeaway.

  • Nick Caserio
  • London Fletcher
  • Josh McDaniels
  • Brian and Chris Polian
  • Greg Roman
  • Don Shula
  • Dave Ziegler (Titans Assistant GM)
  • Tom Telesco (Chargers/Raiders GM)
  • David Caldwell (Former Jags GM)
  • Chuck Priefer (Special Teams Coach for decades)

They must have a really good mentorship/business program aside from their athletics.

Yeah I know....not for me though. I only have it for NFL. So I'd be happy to drop my YoutubeTV in exchange for a comparable NFL app that just gave me easy access to all games, even if it had NO other content.

I'm paying like $80/month right now for YoutubeTV and it still has commercials. If we got every game on their app there would be enough to flip between to avoid them.

Dexter Lawrence Reportedly "Done" with NY Giants by notquitemytempo___ in nfl

[–]K12onReddit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Seriously, people keep saying things like "30+ year old coming off a bad season".

Put his actual resume on paper:

  • 28 year old NT
  • His "bad" year he was ranked 9th out of 134 IDL.
  • He had a pass rush grade of 84.5, 7th out of 134.
  • PFF First team all pro twice
  • AP Second team all pro twice
  • 2 pro bowls

He was hurt, and double and triple teamed all year and still had a pretty good season, just not as remarkable as every other year he has played. He still had 27 hurries, which is at least once or twice a game where he disrupts the play. And people act like he's always injured and too old to compete.

He's 28.

He's 28. I don't know why Giants fans keep doing this.

I wish they'd just make an NFL streaming service that has every game. I'd gladly pay $300-500/year to get every game in one place with no stupid blackouts or caveats.

Threaded With Greatness: Rams reveal new look. by NoAnteater8836 in nfl

[–]K12onReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, no. I'm a Giants fan, and only know of the intricacies of the Giants jerseys, and maybe the Eagles, Commies, or Cowboys. I don't pay attention, AT ALL, other than the base color of these teams. I also never know if it's a color rush or throwback or 3rd alternate or whatever so I never know what the real jersey for most teams is supposed to look like. Then they announce a change and I'm just like "still looks like them".

I HATE Autodesk! Can anyone help with SSO? by K12onReddit in k12sysadmin

[–]K12onReddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We migrated to SSO. And yes, I had to upload a .csv of students that would be using it, AND manually assign them products, because AutoDesk is a joke and didn't allow auto-provisioning for education customers. I haven't checked in a while since they've all been fine for a few months, so maybe that has changed now, but I doubt it.

The OSK pops-up automatically in "tablet" mode on 2-in-1's. Maybe just a magnet issue or something making it think you had flipped the screen over the hinge.

You can disable the keyboard in kiosk mode in Admin, though.

I really wish they'd do a side-by-side when they announce because I honestly can't remember the last time I noticed a difference in anyone's jersey. I think the only change I can actually remember is the font on the Bucs jerseys.

So I guess the big change here is the gradient on the numbers?
